Everywhere in Nice we experienced unfriendly staff - however Clara the waitress in Attimi (name on bill) made our evening great. She spoke fluent english which was an anomaly for Cote d’Azur and a big plus. She was quick and professional - she ensured our drinks and food arrived at the same time as it should be everywhere (she managed her staff as if she had worked in a 5 stars hotel). The food at the restaurant was one of the best food we had in our 4 days in Cote d’Azur and our best in Nice - with prices in Nice ranging the 20/25 Euros per dish, Attimi is rather easy on the pocket but you get a lot for the money - the pastas have lots of seafood, the salads are huge and very tasty and the tuna was perfectly cooked. We ate at other fancy restaurants in Monaco but the service in Attimi topped it all. Thanks Clara! Five mins, ten mins no service. Table next to me was attended too in less than two mins by some chap. I asked a waiter for service and she said okay. Asked the manager for service and he said okay. They both walked off and got five tables cleared and new customers ushered in.
