For my final meal during a 10-day journey through France, I ventured off the beaten path of local cuisine and embraced the robust flavors of Italy at a fantastic restaurant that might just serve the best pizza I’ve encountered in Europe. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the experience:
Food Quality: Each pizza was a revelation in its own right. The Margherita was classic and flawlessly executed, bursting with fresh flavors. The Buratella and the Calamarta al Forno were equally impressive, showcasing authentic Italian craftsmanship in every bite. The dishes were a perfect farewell to an incredible trip, leaving no doubt about their quality. - ★★★★★
Service: The service at this gem was impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, enhancing the overall meal with their promptness and friendliness. - ★★★★★
Location: Set in the bustling main square, the location couldn’t be more perfect. Dining while watching trams glide by just feet away and people bustling along added a vibrant, dynamic backdrop to our meal. The evening chill complemented the warm, hearty fare, making it an ideal setting for savoring each moment. - ★★★★★
Pricing: Considering the generous portions and the high quality of the food, the pricing was surprisingly reasonable. It provided great value for money, which was the cherry on top of an already delightful dining experience. - ★★★★★
Overall Experience: This restaurant not only ended my trip on a high note but also set a new standard for what I expect from Italian cuisine outside of Italy. The combination of superb food, excellent service, and a lively location made it an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, top-notch Italian fare. - ★★★★★

Read moreEverywhere in Nice we experienced unfriendly staff - however Clara the waitress in Attimi (name on bill) made our evening great. She spoke fluent english which was an anomaly for Cote d’Azur and a big plus. She was quick and professional - she ensured our drinks and food arrived at the same time as it should be everywhere (she managed her staff as if she had worked in a 5 stars hotel). The food at the restaurant was one of the best food we had in our 4 days in Cote d’Azur and our best in Nice - with prices in Nice ranging the 20/25 Euros per dish, Attimi is rather easy on the pocket but you get a lot for the money - the pastas have lots of seafood, the salads are huge and very tasty and the tuna was perfectly cooked. We ate at other fancy restaurants in Monaco but the service in Attimi topped it all. Thanks Clara! The ambience was superb, with seating outside and inside, and downstairs with air conditioning - with 38 degrees outside, ideal. In total we visited 4 italian Restaurants - this is the only one who brought us bread and olive oil (plus salt and pepper) without we having to ask for it!!! We wish we had found this restaurant on...

So ten mins walk and was there. Five mins, ten mins no service. Table next to me was attended too in less than two mins by some chap. I asked a waiter for service and she said okay. Asked the manager for service and he said okay. They both walked off and got five tables cleared and new customers ushered in. Just how horrible could service be Oh just a question for the restaurant, have you ever had such a handsome black guy in your restaurant before Have you guys in this modern age got any racial stigma? Trip advisor as much as I am one for equality, I would advise that such restaurants be delisted. We look up to you guys for great recommendations and this restaurant isn’t one NASTY enough the manager saw us leaving and I turned to take a picture and his finger was raised to his … Watch out and avoid if heading there and...
