Lani's BBQ — Restaurant in Pāʻea

Written by an American Tourist :) This place is incredible!!! The place is very clean with a beautiful covered outdoor area. The service is outstanding. From the moment we were greeted and seated we felt very welcome. Our waiter noticed us struggling with the French menu so he was readily available to answer any of our questions and translate for us. We ordered the BBQ ribs with green beans and the boneless chicken breast with BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes. Both entrees were out of this world. I’ve had ribs all over the Midwest, midatlantic and the south and these were by far the best ribs I’ve EVER HAD! Cooked perfectly, falling off the bone, the flavor unmatched. Just absolutely outstanding. The chicken was fantastic as well but I’m here to discuss the ribs. This place is a must try, must stop by spot. Do it while you’re exploring the island.. or make it a point to come here even if it’s out of your way. I’m back in the states now still wishing I could’ve brought these...

Great place for ribs and a beer🍻 in Tahiti.

Food: Ribs were tasty and plentiful. We were two females and ordered two medium size local draft beers, and shared the BBQ ribs and fries with a side of green beans (comes with a few pieces of broccoli added). We left full and satisfied. And while we didn’t have room for any dessert, they looked tempting.

Service: Excellent friendly service staff who speak English and French very well and will even have patience if you’re learning one or the other.

Atmosphere: outdoor seating, clean. Down one star as it was so humid - ceiling or table fans would have been welcome.

Cost: $75 Canadian total...

So delicious! We're tourists from UT, USA and wanted to try some local grub, Loni's was so fun. We know very little of the local language but they helped accommodate us, we did use Google Translate on the menu so we didn't get any surprises, and everything we ordered was amazing. My brother got the duck and loved it. My husband and dad got the bacon burger and fries, the rest of us got Sushi! The sushi rolls are large and so fresh, my mom said the tuna melted in her mouth 🤤 They have a great selection of virgin drinks and smoothies. Thank you! We'll be back before...
