Al Dente — Restaurant in Paris

Service was good we had a reservation and table was ready for us. It was a 50th bday celebration so we all flew to Paris to celebrate. The appetizer of fried calamari came with these fried fish that no one at the table would eat. I mentioned to waitress since they insisted we needed 2 duo dishes to feed our party of 8. They were just gross. Our other pasta dishes were average. Overall just disappointed no small recognition of bday girls big 5O. Maybe not a tradition here but spending over $300 should have offered my friend a dessert...

Recommended by our hotel concierge, we had a lovely dinner here including salad, pizza, pasta and dessert. Everything was exceptionally delicious, portions were generous and prices seemed quite reasonable for Paris. This restaurant seemed to be more catered to locals then for tourists and the menu was only in French. However, the staff was extremely helpful with ordering and were attentive throughout the meal. My husband and I had a fantastic meal at Al Dente tonight. I ordered pasta and he had pizza, both dishes were so good we ended up sharing. There wasn’t a scrap of food left when we finished, and then we had chocolate mousse for dessert! The service was wonderful, and the waitress made sure to offer to translate the menu for us.
