Bronx Pizzeria — Restaurant in Paris

This is officially the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at by a long mile. I was just acting normal, nice and courteous the whole time so you will see that I have nothing to do with this: (1) Waiter put me sitting at a table for 8 people when there were tables for 2 clearly vacant. Was I supposed to move when a crowd came in? (2) Nobody told me the menu was on a QR code on the table (3) The cutlery and glasses were filthy. Glasses looked like they were never cleaned, as others have stated already. The knife I was given had someone else’s pizza baked into it. The barman gave me a clean knife, and when the waiter found out about it he sneered in my direction. He should come to the table and apologize, not laugh at the customer to their face. (4) The tables did not have flat surfaces. Can’t believe I’m writing this. (5) Waiter saw I was ready for the cheque as I raised my hand. He didn’t bother coming over to me at any point. (6) Cash scam. I walked to the other end of the restaurant to pay for the food because the waiter was too lazy to come to me. He said CASH ONLY with a card machine sitting in front of him. I refused and demanded to pay by card like everyone else. He thinks his customers are as stupid as he is.

Attn Americans: I’m honestly not sure how people eat here and rave about this place. The service is friendly, BUT I was conned out of leaving an additional “tip” for nonexistent service. I stepped in to order a carry-out—- very simple transaction (one pizza) and short interaction with the guy who works there. As I paid for my order, he asked me repeatedly to tip him and his friends, and then flat out made a strong suggestion to do so…I gave in with a SMALL (additional) tip, but people traveling to Paris should be advised that tax and tip are already included. Don’t get swindled like me into paying more than you should, especially for carryout.

As for the pizza—- barely edible. I was staying across around the corner so the pizza was still fresh and hot…yet still barely edible.

Went for dinner here and while waiting for our pizzas to come, we noticed 2 mice running around the floor of the restaurant. I said it to the waiter who didn't seem bothered and told me it was due to construction work. It is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable to have mice running around and judging by previous reviews this is an ongoing issue. We did not want to eat here but he insisted our pizzas were fine and put them in take away boxes but didn't charge me for beer (which I didn't even get a chance to drink so I should hope not!) Really disappointing and I would not recommend. Does not matter how good food is if you don't make an effort to control your rodent issue. Where I'm from, a restaurant would be closed...
