L'imprévu — Restaurant in Paris

I went in and ordered in English because I was given a menu in English. When he asked 2 cafe's I said yes. Later when we ordered a large meal to share he asked 2 cafes again in french so once again I said yes. He never asked 2 meals. I saw he was making 2 meals so approached him kindly and said I didn't mean to get 2 meals. He immediately got angry. At that point he went as far as saying I needed to learn customs and languages when I visit. I studied french for 4 years. This is why I travelled to France. I was offended by him and his hate for tourists. I am well taught with an art history major and feel like I was attacked by him. I would not recommend this place to anyone living or visiting in Paris. This service was horrible. The man was rude and a bigot. Si je pouvais mettre 0 étoiles, je le ferais. Le serveur était extrêmement malpoli. On attendait plus de 50 minutes pour pouvoir commander. On avait même pas le droit de prendre de l'eau en attendant... C'était vraiment écoeurant, le service. Finalement on est parti sans commander. Très déçu.

If I could leave a zero star rating, I would. The server was extremely rude in spite of liaising with him in French. We were told off for trying to grab/asking for a carafe of tap water from the counter. We waited 50 minutes and were still unable to order. We attracted the waiters attention to order before another couple - he still attended to them first and their wine came before we'd even been able to order, at which point we asked for the bill and left. And the prices for these dishes were high 15-18 euros. We didn't know what to order. As a result, we ordered an appetizer of cheese, ham and sausage. The dish was large, but cost 25 euros. And we ordered grilled fish for 20 euros. They brought two small pieces with a tasteless sauce. The atmosphere was also not impressive.
