Yes it’s one of the most tastiest mouthwatering creative restaurants I’ve been to. It was very unique and quiet. You could hear the Japanese foreign language. This felt like a simulation of Japan in Paris. The air was fresh and the smell of wagyu and different mushrooms and vegetables the paintings around this little cute restaurant were all inspired by the artist called Hokusai The art in this restaurant made me feel the creativity of these artists when the food came we had to cook it our self in a hot pot The colour of the different vegetables look like a rainbow the noise of the chopsticks clicking and cracking the noise of the marble red wagu steak boiling in the hot pot Sizzling and shrinking the fluffy green Wasabi looked like a freshly cut lawn on a nice summer day in the Sun the various types of vegetables from mushroom to peppers all different colours look like traffic lights, red yellow green Right opposite where we sat was a beautiful bar table which was displayed with beautiful bottles of Japanese whiskey. The colour of bronze was moving freely and a glass crystal bottle which I bet tasted amazing and the light reflect onto the wall. Space of this unique restaurant was perfect as it was quiet and peaceful. Everyone’s talking quiet like a mouse the workers are Kind and caring with most of them being bilingual know French Japanese and English this restaurant is quite hidden as well so only people who have been told by mouth who know Hidden gems overall I really enjoyed this place with the atmosphere being quiet and peaceful and the food being mouthwatering and affordable prices, especially in the...
Read moreRead moreDespite previous positive experiences with Takara’s cuisine, my most recent return to the restaurant was marred by a series of disappointing incidents that overshadowed any culinary delights. During the entire course of the dinner, our waitress, Melissa, rolled her eyes profusely at us and shot us condescending looks endlessly. Noting here we did show up late due to work, as communicated with the restaurant AHEAD. Fast forward to 45min into the dinner, we were asked to leave the restaurant IMMEDIATELY and told to bring our 80% FULL wine bottle to DRINK ON THE STREET bcos the next guests HAVE ARRIVED. Skipping the unnecessary details, we eventually asked (LIKE ABSOLUTE BEGGARS) to move to the the bar table to finish our wine ONLY to find out no other guests pulled up for rest of the evening (actually the resto remains 50% empty for the next 1h we were there). NO APOLOGY was tendered and we left feeling absolutely ROBBED and HUMILIATED from the experience. I sincerely hope that the management takes constructive criticism to heart and implements necessary changes to ensure a more hospitable experience for future guests. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this...
I felt deeply disappointed by my experience at the restaurant. Our waitress, Melissa, treated us with blatant rudeness and repeatedly lied to us in an attempt to rush us out. Despite enjoying the food, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being unwelcome and pushed out. When our reservation time ended, Melissa promptly asked us to vacate our table, claiming the next patrons had arrived, which we later discovered was untrue (table remained empty for one hour and also half of the restaurant).
Even when we asked to finish our wine at the bar, Melissa initially claimed it was fully reserved without bothering to check, further exacerbating our sense of being dismissed and rolled her eyes. She came back, revealing that clients canceled their reservation at the bar. However, despite relocating, we observed our table remaining empty even after an hour, with the restaurant nearly emptying out. To our dismay, Melissa was caught gossiping about us to her colleagues while pointing us.
Overall, despite the decent food, the treatment we received left us feeling deeply disheartened and embarrassed.
It's the very first time this experience is...
