Vinatown — Restaurant in Berlin

Antagonistic, adversarial staff. I would never come back. I'm used to a bit of gruffness in Berlin, but the guy who appeared to be the manager was so much "in charge" that it ruined the end of a nicer day. First he refused to SELL me water because I asked too late. I was surprised, but no big deal--there was a stack of cups sitting there to give out for tap water. So I asked for a cup of water. The poor cashier tried to give me water in one of the stack of cups sitting there for that purpose, and the manager stopped him. My understanding was that I was too late to ask for that too, and since I had already paid, I was no longer a customer. Eventually he gave in and let me have it. Food looked much better in the picture than what I was served. Noodles were inconsistent on my serving and sub par. Meat was very dry. I should have chosen a different place. If I had looked at the reviews first, I would have seen similar issues from...

Not sure why general ratings low. Food was very good and fresh and portions are good for the price. The only issue we had is the general food court can become very busy and finding a seat difficult. All eateries in this area of Berlin seem to have last orders by around 8.30pm or so (including McDs!). Sate better than my own at home in UK and I was pleased to finally be served a variety of vegetables within the chosen meal (crispy duck, noodles, chicken spicy sauce). Staff very rude and not friendly and not helpful. Food was very bad and for sure not worth for its money… I ordered noodles that cost 7.50€ and because I said without vegetables , the price became 9€ HAHAHAHAH… you can understand. And i have a surprise for the end, they did mistake and my order had vegetables… They dont even have any sauce for the noodles. Only soya… One of the worst food malls I have ever visited. All the food places next to that are the same. Better trust kfc or mc...
