Amazing food with a beautiful 360 degree view of Düsseldorf. The food is fresh, creative and beautifully presented on the plates. There was a special Easter weekend set menu. The chocolate mousse was so delicious and good with the fresh berry compliments. I would have give. This set menu dining experience five stars but I wish there was more description provided of each course (I.e. what it was, where the food was sourced from, how the flavors went together etc). For a "fine dining"/elevated experience which the restaurant strives for, I would have expected this. However the quality of food and views are excellent! Leckeres Essen, aufmerksamer Service und ein schicker erster Eindruck. The VIEW – der Name ist Programm. Im 16. Stockwerk des Hotels bietet das Restaurant eine weitläufige Aussicht auf Düsseldorf. Je nach Platz hat man einen Blick auf den Hafen oder auf die Nachbarstadt Neuss. Das Essen war liebevoll und schön angerichtet. Wir hatten die Tomatenvariation und das Tatar. Beide waren lecker und die Qualität der einzelnen Komponenten war top. Beim Tatar hätte es jedoch ein Tick mehr sein können, aber es war lediglich die Vorspeise. Zum Hauptgang bestellten wir das Entrecôte vom Kalb mit Kartoffelpüree und Pfifferlingen. Geschmacklich hat uns das Gericht gut abgeholt. Lediglich waren beide Stücke Fleisch ein wenig zu fettig. Hier hätten wir uns für den stolzen Preis ein wenig mehr Menge gewünscht. Der Nachtisch, die Schokoladenvariation, war ausgezeichnet. Hier stimmte fast alles, bis auf das Gelee. Das hätte unserer Meinung nach nicht auf den Teller gemusst. Dennoch empfehlenswert! Der Service war sehr gut. Unser Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Er hat uns gut beraten und war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas zu trinken oder nachbestellen wollten. Zudem wurden wir auch darüber informiert, wann wir mit dem nächsten Gang rechnen konnten. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Restaurant modern und stylisch, auf den zweiten Blick erkennt man jedoch, dass es schon einige Gäste zu Gast hatte. Es würde dem Ambiente nicht schaden, wenn man die Fensterbänke abstauben oder die Heizkörper von Flecken befreien würde. Eine lebensfrohere Tischdekoration wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert. Der Service, den wir hatten, war sehr aufmerksam und hat seine Arbeit vollends erfüllt. Unsere Speisen waren lecker, jedoch hätten die Mengen ruhig ein wenig größer sein können. Ein Besuch ist empfehlenswert für alle mit kleinem Hunger und dem Wunsch nach gutem Service.

Tolle Bar und nettes Restaurant im 16 Stock. Lohnt sich für einen besonderen Abend über Düsseldorf. Die Bar und das Restaurant teilen sich oben den Saal. Restaurant und Bar nicht überkandiert sondern einfach mit Stil. Für die Bar gibt es Stehtische und Lounge Ecken. Die Musik nicht zu aufdringlich . Einfach in den 16 Stock fahren und an der Bar Getränke und Cocktails genießen. Herrlicher Ausblick über ganz Düsseldorf. Musik war nicht zu laut und die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Das Personal war Top. Von der ersten Sekunde an der Rezeption bis zum Abschied. So macht man Gäste glücklich. Freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Cocktails im Detail erklärt mit Witz und Humor. Wir haben vorher einen Gutschein für Candle light dinner 142,00 eingelöst. Das Menü war gut und das Personal überragend. War alles lecker aber 142 setzte schon Maßstäbe. Die Spargelcreme Suppe Top. Geht nicht besser. Der Spargelschaum mega. Salat mit Ziegenkäse leider zu einfach. Krabbencocktail 2x mini Löffel - zu wenig. Humus mit Kürbis und Curry der Hammer. Die Hauptspeise war das Highlight. Perfekte Sauce.Perfektes Fleisch. Nachtisch - Vanille Pudding mit Mango und harter Waffel hat mich nicht mitgenommen Nicht falsch verstehen, war alles lecker. Aber 142 - sehe ich dann eher zum Verschenken. Ich würde die Speisekarte vorziehen. Die Location verdient aber auch ein Menü Konzept mit Bar Besuch im Anschluss. Wir hatten den Zeit Slot von 18.00 bis 20.00 und sind dann bis spät in die Nacht an der Bar gewesen. Die Getränke bleiben im allgemeinen normalen Niveau. Aperol 7,50 Glas Rotwein 9,00 Bier 5,00 Cocktails mit Qualität 15.00 Alles angemessen. Man zahlt für die Location nicht drauf. Das ist die richtige Entscheidung ;-) War ein toller Abend. Macht weiter so. Vielen Dank.

We went there for dinner, I wanted a location with a view. The view is really beautiful, the place is very relaxing ,service is spectacular, this is not a five star hotel but the service at the restaurant is better than a five star restaurant, our waiter Ivan was friendly, knows what he is offering and could give us a description of each dish we where ordering, give us great advices and was very polite and ready to serve and to help every time we call, he went above and beyond his duty to try and serve us in a most elegant and profesional way, service really deserves 5 stars. The Bartender young blond man was spectacular, he really knew how to do cocktails and to present and serve them, we started with cocktails as an appetitive before moving to our table and the cocktails where really fantastic! Also 5 star for the Bartender. The food was also really good creative fusion dishes, very well presented, really good tasting ,perfectly presented, generous portions, The Chef has a lot of imagination and good hand to present and prepare the dishes. I was really excited to try this place, as the location and view looks amazing, unfortunately it was below expectations in all mean. The ambiance is nice but the bad service ruined it for me. I went there for my birthday brunch and i was really disappointed. To start with i ordered a cappuccino that arrived almost cold because the service was bad. Then it took the waiter 45 min to get us the menu. The food wasn’t as i hoped, a 20 euros açaí bowl was served nor fresh or cold and with no cutlery. The eggs was fine, but missing alot of attention for basics and details. The view was nice to be fair but everything else was a total turn off. I honestly won’t be recommending...
