Absolutely terrible unfortunately. I wanted to take my boyfriend to a Syiren Restaurant for his birthday, made a reservation and asked for to make it a bit special for him. When we arrived he didn't know about our reservation and he was quite overwhelmed with all the costumers, we sit down and got told the food will take a while like half and hour. Two girl where placed next to our table almost right after us. We waited for two hours to get some cold, not well cooked food, after we wanted to leave already to experience after us he said to all the costumers that it's full and no serving anymore, even the restaurant was supposed to be open for a few hours still and there would have been enough space. We found out at the end he was completely alone in the whole restaurant, so he welcomed the costumers and also cooked. Why they were not closed with the shortage of staff? Could have enjoyed the birthday dinner way better elsewhere. The little restaurant looked really nice and could have been so much better. The service man was stressed but still nice. Still, we wouldn't recommend...
Read moreI was there with my gf and a friend. My food was good (lentil soup and grilled chicken sticks) but the rice from my friend was close to uneatable, very dry, cold and it had a weird aroma. The worst in my opinion was the portion size you get, because it is nowhere near the pictures in the menu.
This, in my opinion, is close to fraud e.g. we had the Baklava mixed 'plate', on the picture in the menu I counted over 10 pieces and in reality we got 5 pieces.
This was the same for all the food we had except the soup. So in consideration we payed a hefty price for a low amount of average food.
We all also had to leave our jackets on, because it was not warm inside and the seating was sadly not cozy at all.
Increase your portion sizes, or more and more customers will be left...
Read moreI always wanted to stop by this cool spot called Antique Restaurant and, oh boy, was it a treat! First time trying Syrian food and it totally rocked my taste buds. We went all in with the Antique Platter – it's like a greatest hits album of Syrian flavors. Everything was top-notch, but let me tell you about the hummus – it's a game-changer. Seriously, it's so good, it might just be the best thing since sliced bread... or since hummus west of Israel, at least.
And the falafel? Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with spices that'll make you wanna dance. The owner's super sweet too, making you feel right at home. Can't wait to hit this place up again with my crew. If you haven't been, you're missing out. Big thumbs up for the...
