This old-style German restaurant perfectly captures the essence of Bavarian culture, with its stunning classic decor and warm, inviting atmosphere. Located right at Marienplatz, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience traditional German hospitality and cuisine.

From the moment I stepped in, I was transported back to the 19th century with its charming cellar-like ambiance and beautiful wooden interiors. The walls adorned with classic paintings and vintage-style furnishings made the experience feel authentic and cozy.

I ordered the Bratwurst Sampler, which was a delightful assortment of various traditional sausages, including Nuremberg-style bratwurst, skinless veal sausage, smoked beef beerknaack-bratwurst, and schnaps bratwurst. The platter also included grilled bacon, sauerkraut, and creamy mashed potatoes. Each sausage had its own unique flavor and texture, perfectly showcasing the diversity of Bavarian cuisine. The sauerkraut was tangy and paired wonderfully with the smoky, savory sausages, while the mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, complementing the meal.
