Kaiserpalast — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Bruchsal

Walked into the restaurant to use the toilet. Then when I came out of the toilet, an employee stood in front of the exit and asked me for 1 Euro. When I said I’ll get my wallet from the car (we were charging at a Tesla supercharger), he put his hands on my chest and blocked the door saying he didn’t trust me to come back with money. I didn’t tolerate the door blocking and we began to yell at each other.

I hadn’t realized my wife came in to the restaurant 5 min after I did to use the toilet, so when she came out and saw the altercation happening, she had her purse on her and payed him. Then the man was still angry that we hadn’t payed beforehand and still blocked the exit. When I forced the door open, he pushed my wife and I out of the restaurant.

These people are aggressive and combative. If you’re going to use this place to use their toilet, make sure you have 1 Euro. They will get physical with you if they catch you using the toilet...

Ich war nun schon mehrfach bei Kaiserpalast und bin jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert! Die Auswahl am Buffet ist einfach unglaublich: Von frischem Sushi über knusprige Ente bis hin zu saftigen Garnelen – hier gibt es alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend, alles ist frisch, perfekt gewürzt und wird regelmäßig nachgefüllt. (für die Vegetarier: hier mangelt es auch nicht an der grünen Küche;).)

Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Bedienung. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt stets dafür, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Leere Teller werden abgeräumt, Getränke kommen zügig, und man wird immer mit einem Lächeln empfangen. In vielen Restaurants vermisst man genau diesen Service – hier wird GASTFREUNDSCHAFT wirklich großgeschrieben! (Außerdem, manchmal kann es im Restaurant ein wenig voll werden, dann kann man wirklich nicht erwarten, dass in dem Augenblick, in welchem das letzte Stück auf dem teller weggefuttert wird, der Teller im Nächsten in Blitzgeschwindigkeit weggebracht wird- zeigt einbissle Verständnis und Rücksicht)

Nun zu einem Punkt, der mich wirklich ärgert: Leute, die den Preis für zu hoch halten. Mal ehrlich, in Zeiten der Inflation steigen die Preise ÜBERALL – im Supermarkt, an der Tankstelle, einfach überall. Restaurants müssen ihre Zutaten ebenfalls teuer einkaufen, ganz zu schweigen von den gestiegenen Miet- und Personalkosten. Trotzdem schafft es Kaiserpalast ein Buffet mit einer riesigen Auswahl zu einem wirklich fairen Preis anzubieten!

Immer beschweren die Leute sich über den Preise hier- als würde der Koch seine Zutaten im Märchenwald pflücken und noch im Supermarkt zu Inflationspreisen kaufen. Vergleicht das doch mal mit anderen Restaurants: Wo zahlt man bitte für ein einzelnes Gericht schon 20€ oder mehr – und das ohne Vorspeise, ohne Nachschlag? Hier hingegen bekommt man eine riesige Auswahl, kann sich nach Lust und Laune bedienen und zahlt im Verhältnis einfach einen echt geilen Preis. Wer da noch meckert, hat die Realität nicht verstanden. (Nur so, ich bin selber Studentin, besitze also grad nicht wirklich das krasseste Vermögen- bin vielmehr mit dem Geldbeutel auf Diät:) und ich komm mindestens zweimal pro Woche)

Für mich ist Kaiserpalast ein absolutes Muss für alle, die gutes Essen lieben und dabei nicht unnötig viel zahlen wollen. Wer hier nicht glücklich wird, dem ist nicht zu helfen! Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen – fünf Sterne, hast sich Kaiserpalast wirklich verdient!

As a Tesla driver there is charging station right next to this “wonderful” establishment. My husband and I thought we would walk into the restaurant and freshen up. I had to pay a Euro when I walked into in AFTER my husband but he on the other hand when walking in wasn’t stopped by the restaurant staff, so he simply walked into the restroom. On the way out two restaurants workers physically blocked my husband’s way out of the restaurant, and when my husband tried to leave, the tall “gentleman” with glasses proceeded to push my husband against the wall until I came upstairs and had to search in my purse for an extra euro to pay them. Even after I paid, both men had proceeded to yell at us and held the door shut until it caused enough commotion in the restaurant till they finally LET US leave.
