O thessalos — Restaurant in Athens

Very good quality of food, whatever they have at least. Although I liked the place and the quality and taste of food was really good, however there are lot of big gaps to be a proper restaurant. To be more specific : Saturday night : -they didn't have bread -they didn't have some basic items from the very short menu they have -they didn't have one of the two red wines offered on menu they didn't have any dessert although it was on the menu and when we asked the answer was we don't have time to prepare. If you don't have time and respect your customers you just hire one more in the kitchen. Also it says closes at 2 am but kitchen closed 12.20 (yeas we eat at 1 am in restaurants in Greece). Anyway, if you sit down without expectations what you ll order you may enjoy, if you want proper dinner is not the right place for sure. However I may visit again, as I said quality...

We had been waiting for a table for more than an hour and we had advised every single waiter that we are looking for one since there is no one that keeps the priority and there are no reservations. Then a party of people of the same number as ours came and got a table over us after they talked to the same waiter.

I politely complaint about it to the waiter and he was really rude saying that how are you acting like that you will be served at some point instead of apologizing.

Of course we left instantly and there is no chance of going back there again.

There are very nice other restaurants of the same theme around this area that are happy to have you and that attitude is totally not...

The problem is the service which is horrific. Whe have ordered 2 dishes which came 25 minuetes apart. We spoke to the manager and received information that this is completly normal... if you think the same then have fun in this place... The quality of the service is horrific! The manager seems to think that we are here to satisfy her needs... By the way we have paid full service despite muntiple demands to speak to the manager.. she didn't turn up... Shame that she treats her cutomers like that... what is more she sent 20 euro to make us smile... Good luck with this attitude. Really this is not about the money this is about how you treat your customers....
