I wish I could rate this place zero out of five.
We visited the restaurant with my family looking forward to a nice meal by the sea.
We were greeted by a waiter and were shown our table, sat down and were handed the menus 5 minutes later.
A waiter came to take out order and set the plates down approximately 30 minutes later.
We gave in our ordered and waited another half an hour, we ordered some of the most well known Greek food like calamari and fish. After the food arrived, none of it looked freshly made, especially the calamari which was rubbery and bland. We ordered 2 plates of potatoes so we could at least eat something and they brought them to us when we "finished" our meal, we didn't eat the potatoes either since when you're by the water with an endless amount of fields around you you'd at least expect some freshly cut potatoes and not store-bought frozen ones.
Enough with the food, the staff were rude when we asked basic questions about the food and such, most of them looked like they didn't care about any of the customers since a table next to us was munching on a salad for about 40 minutes straight before their main course arrived.
Most importantly the place is a mess and needs to work on it's management and food preparation, I'd like to note that the plates we were given were kind of scuffed and looked like they were just wiped with a towel but no weird smell came from them so I'm writing it all the way down since I'm not so sure about it.
When going to the front to pay, the price of the food came to a final of about 70-80 Euros for 3 people, which in my opinion is a bit high for being served mostly frozen food and especially if the restaurant is built next to the sea, there might be some things I haven't written.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to have a good meal with your family, try checking some other restaurants in the...
Read moreHorrible. Do not recommend at all. They took a long time to get the order, food arrived before the drinks (and was not good). When the drinks came (beers) they brought us HOT glasses. When asked to change they said they don't have other ones. Finally the server agreed to change them and brought 2 different ones (like from eachother) at ~room temperature and left them on the table with a gesture as if "are you happy now?". We had water glasses, yet no water was brought to the table, which is found in most places around. Another thing is that all other restaurants we went to also had complimentary small deserts and/or bread. Neither here. Another thing was that throughout the time spent we had not a single "welcome", "please" or "thank you". Waiters were running around and took the orders bended on the table with not a single smile or even a glimpse of anything other than "I hate my life". They kept shouting at each other across the restaurant. All other tables around looked very unhappy, with a lot of them waiting for so long to get service and some even having arguments about food not arriving. Oh, and also, Bill was the highest we've paid across Kavala and contained same/similar items, even less than usual.
So yes, if you're looking for a nice dinner experience,...
Read moreFirst of all the service wasn't so fast but also wasn't good at all. The waiter, carrying our cutlery, threw them on the table. And this attitude was not only with us. We was two people and we just order on portion of fried zucchini. We didn't wait very long, but as far as food was concerned, it was terribly oily. Yes, it was olive oil, it's healthy, but in this situation it was too much. When we finished our stomachs hurt. And finally when we were ready to pay for our bill there was no one who could take us, but the interesting part was that the restaurant wasn't so full. Of course at the end of all this I don't think I can rate it with something more then 1 or maximum 2 stars (because we only tried one dish, but I don't think it will be something better). I'm really sorry, but I can't do anything about all of this things. I'm just honest and also I am not the only who...
