Il Tinello Athens — Restaurant in Municipality of Alimos

We came back, beacause of our beautiful experience in the past. But now: They started to serve plates when not all of us have arrived yet (inspite our reminder). Every plate is actually for 2 people maximum. Some plates arrived earlier than other, some other came all together, while some other were delayed. Every time they served a plate, we had to keep in mind (otherwise you loose your chance or your time to seek the waiter) and remind them that our table should have more portion (not just 1 plate). If and when we had completentary portions, they were delivered on second time (so were not actually eating the same thing, same time). Some pasta were more than "al dente". The taste and quantity was not the same as in the past. I indeed hope they will soon return to the good quality and quantity...

One of the best tradition Italian trattoria in Athens🏛, Alimos area. It’s a super unique family restaurant especially recommended to guests who are willing to eat a lot! 🐷All kinds of pasta 🍝 handmade by Mrs Daniella. At this restaurant you just book a table, arrive at the place, and make yourself comfortable. Mr. Stefanos and his team will take really good care of you!! You don’t have to look at the menu, you just sit, and enjoy the delicious food!! Πήγαμε να φάμε δύο άτομα και πληρώσαμε συνολικά 70€ για 9 πιάτα φαγητό, 2 γλυκά και 1 μπουκάλι κόκκινο κρασί. Το φαγητό δεν ήταν άσχημο και γενικότερα ήταν αποτέλεσμα παραδοσιακών ιταλικών συνταγών, αλλά κάποια πιάτα είχαν και τις σχετικές τους αστοχίες, δίχως αυτές να είναι σε μεγάλο βαθμό π.χ. κάποια από τα ζυμαρικά, ήθελαν παραπάνω βράσιμο και το κρέας καλύτερο ψήσιμο. Προσωπική μου άποψη. Τα γλυκά ήταν αρκετά καλά και 1 χαρά και το κρασί. Γενικά με 35€ ανά άτομο, τρως μέχρι να σκάσεις. Είναι κάτι σαν γαστρονομικό happy hour. Ο οικοδεσπότης παίρνει τα πιάτα που κάθε λίγο ετοιμάζει η κουζίνα και μαζί με τον σερβιτόρο, σερβίρουν στους "καλεσμένους" μέχρι να δοκιμάσουν από όλο τον κατάλογο της ημέρας. Κοινώς, δεν παραγγέλνει ο κόσμος. Απλά τρώει. Φιλόξενο και παρεΐστικο περιβάλλον, ζεστός χωρίς, δυστυχώς χωρίς μουσική. Μην πάτε αν δεν πεινάτε ή αν δεν τρώτε πολύ, γιατί θα σας φανεί ακριβό. Είναι για καλοφαγάδες και προτείνω να πάτε νωρίς για να το ευχαριστηθείτε. Σίγουρα θα ξαναπήγαινα. Ιδιαίτερο μαγαζί, αν κι από έξω φαίνεται απλά 1 ισόγειο...
