This is by far the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of eating in my entire life! You can order anything from the menu and it will be a delight to the palate. The Mythos restaurant convinced me that Greek cuisine is in the first place on the podium in my classification. Everything is prepared on the spot, you can feel the freshness of the products used and the passion with which the restaurant chefs prepare dishes. The plate of Greek dishes is the best choice to see how wonderful this place is. Seafood is a torpedo that will explode with taste in your mouth! Moussaka is like poetry, salmon that is not served as fillet, as in most restaurants, is a meal that could be my last meal before I die. The tzatziki is like a cloud from paradise and the Mythos salad is the best salad I've had in my life - just something hard to describe! The best recommendation - whenever I left the Mythos restaurant I was already wondering what I would order the next day. The service is above the scale. You will feel like at a dinner with your best friends who care not only about your palate, but also that the smile does not leave your face. They are all very professional and full of positive energy! At the end of each meal, you will get delicious fruits, Ouzo, and a piece of homemade cake, which are the most beautiful ending to every dinner. Not just my worst restaurant experience in Crete,Greece, this was by far my worst restaurant experience of my life! The octopus and calamari were like rubber,the fried fish batter had a texture like sand. The shrimp was soggy and not fresh. The dip was old and store bought. But the worst atrocity and what should have been my first sign that this was a terrible greek restaurant is the fact that the tzatziki wasn't good and only tasted of yogurt and nothing else,no cucumber no garlic, nothing! Any Greek man worth his salt couldn't mess up Tzatziki if he wanted to, but this restaurant went above and beyond at making the worst Tzatziki in Greece! The restaurant owner could tell there was something wrong and kept asking how everything was. I tried to be polite but he kept pushing and I asked him if he wanted to hear the truth. We came here with me and my friend. When they brought the drinks they first only brought my drink. We had to wait for my friends drink to arrive which was kind of disappointing but nothing major if that would just be it. My food was the Briam. I looked it up and it looked delicious, but it looked better on google. My food was half warm to cold. Soggy cold vegetables aren’t nice. My friends meat was very disappointing, it was dry. He described it as something that tastes left over. We nearly didn’t have any place on our table. I couldn’t even lift my glass.
