We visited during a very high traffic time, as there was a game playing on all screens, so my review is in part not objective, but there's also the objective comments.
Objective comments: The food, though tasty, is exorbitantly priced. The portions are on the smaller side, in certain cases too small. The ambience is so-so, mostly focused on the televisions, the area around the store is very nice, and the staff is great.
Not so objective: As all humans, the staff members also got grumpy and not so polite when incredibly stressed by the amount of customers, at the last couple of hours of their shift. This is obviously fully expected and understood. In fact, it reflects on the company, who during such a busy time had only a couple of waiting staff in shift. Horrible management, but that's expected in this country. Our orders took much more time than expected between servings, and I can bet the kitchen was also similarly understaffed. The staff did their best, but management let them down.
In summary, I highly suggest avoiding high traffic times, and expect high prices for small portions, but...
Read moreThe first day we had to leave cause there was a football match and all the TVs were out loud so that we couldn’t hear a thing.. second time we were there was football all over again on silent but luckily with music. The food: chicken wings were good but no carrot or celery sticks with it.. tacos were also good, so was the burger.
The half portion of pork ribs was the smallest I ever seen in my life..I told the waitress she suggested I should order the larger portion which was twice of that very small half portion we ordered, I thought she was going to report what I said to her to the management about the portion being too small but no..!! These ribs are sold to the butcher shops between 2.5-3.5 Euro per kilo how difficult is to provide customers with a satisfactory portion as it is done in the USA as the restaurant proclaims to have originated. The rest was good but don’t go there when there is football game on that day if you want to be able to talk to...
Read moreAmerican style diner. Went there for the spicy wings and food selection. I had the honey mustard spicy ones 20 pack. The sauce is similar to frank’s hot so its a bit sour. Next time I will try the extra spicy ones as I do like to suffer, but do suggest you try the spicy with the blue cheese dip. My friends had the mild honey mustard and they were quite sweet and enjoyable. The egg burger was tasty with crispy fries. Highly reccomend the onion rings, the sauce had a nice peppery twist. Finally, the bottomless fizzy drinks were a nice touch.
The staff were very friendly and went over the top to explain dishes and provide suggestions for our wings, something I really appreciated
Excellent atmosphere if you are keen to see a match with friends. There are some people who become too passionate and a bit distruptive, but a bit of banter is good.
We paid a very fair price for our gluttonous sunday night dinner and will...
