Burger Ground Penteli — Restaurant in Municipality of Penteli

We visited Burger Ground a.k.a. The Grounds in Penteli a few days ago. We have heard good things about it a while ago so we went there with high expectations and luckily they were met! We tried The New Yorker burger and the Jack Daniel's burger. Both tasted great, the burger was made with good quality meat, was grilled perfectly without becoming dry and stiff, the burger buns were just the right ones and you could feel the taste of every single ingredient in the burger. Proper cheese, proper pieces of bacon, nice sauces, and great country style potatoes. The quantity and quality of good was great and was in line with their pricing. We asked for a chocolate souffle but unfortunately they had run out, but they were kind enough to offer us some nice ice cream balls as a treat for free. The interior was nicely decorated and warm enough for the cold winter nights ahead, the tables were spaced well and the personnel was very friendly and professional. The service was surprisingly fast. All in all a great experience, good food and mood, reasonable pricing, a place we'll surely revisit multiple times. Great job guys and girls, keep it up! Fall 2022 update: the food is as good as it was, there's no change in quantity or the pricing. The only complaint is that they only had 1 flavor of ice cream (and it wasn't the classic vanilla) for the chocolate souffle that was the only dessert...

We visited the place on Christmas Eve last night. We occupied 2 tables, a total of 30 people. There were two more parties with few people so the number of guests was more than manageable. We ordered meat platters and salads. The kids ordered burgers with fries. The food tasted terrible and it requires a lot of skills to destroy a meat platter! The burgers tasted terrible as well. We wanted to order more house wine and we were told that they were out after serving us 4 half litres jugs. We wanted to order dessert and we were told the kitchen was closed at 11pm!!!! We all woke up feeling sick with a serious stomach ache. It is really unacceptable to tell customers that there is no more house wine on a busy night like Christmas Eve, unless this was an unsuccessful attempt to force us to order bottled wine. Also it makes absolute no sense to close the kitchen at 11pm on such a night. We strongly advise people not to visit The Ground Pendeli for any reason. Really poor food and...

I don't usually write reviews but this place was so exceptionally bad I feel have to. My coffee was spilt by my son by accident, rather than offer another I had to ask for one and they charged me for it too, in child friendly Greece I was amazed by this and how,rude generally the waitress was, also the crisps that were put on the plate with the sandwich had peanuts and old seeds inside, it had been mixed with whatever had been left over from the day before, this is obviously totally unhygienic and disgusting, I should have realised that something was off with this place because it was empty apart from us.
