I started to order my main course first and the bald head waiter asked me “aren’t you ordering a ‘stalter’?” Strong accent and I have no idea what “stalter” is, so I asked him politely: “I’m sorry what’s a stalter?” Then that waiter’s anger just came from nowhere, pointing at the menu impatiently while yelling “Stalter! Stalter! Stalter!” and I finally understood he’s saying STARTER.

I think it’s funny that I’m paying this much money for some dude yelling “stalter” in my face. Also I order whatever I want and I don’t need to be told what to order. I planned to order staters anyway but I don’t think any customer wants to be forced to order more than they want.

About the food I should really be more aware when almost every comment mentions how below average the food is (even in those positive comments). My main course is so over salted and I can taste more sand than meat in clams and mussels. And yes many courses use frozen seafood, which is a bit unacceptable for their price. Service and food, if at least one thing worths the bill I won’t waste my time to write a bad review, but for a restaurant that costs around 40 euro per person this is such a bad experience and no wonder why there were only 2-3 tables seated when we went there around 7:00PM. Lovely quiet meal in a friendly and welcoming restaurant. They even welcomed us into the kitchen to choose our fish! Enjoyed the pork tomahawk which was a unique dish and some grilled calamari. Fresh sea air. Birds' songs. A hospitable and pretty modest host. Free bread, icy water, huge portions of delicious meals, reasonable prices (there is a beach restaurant near where prices for the same dishes are larger in three times then here!)
