Alabárdos Étterem — Restaurant in Szegedi járás

In my opinion Alabárdos is offering the most premium culinary experience one can enjoy in Szeged. The restaurant has gone through a complete transformation recently, thanks to which it can enter the segment of the most quality gastro mekkas in the city. The dishes are not only enchantingly beautyful, but creatively composed, not to mention the amazing, complex tastes and textures that will surely make each dish an unforgettable experience. The service is kind, professional and attentive. And the prices are fair - basically they match up with the level of the other proper restaurants in the neighbourhood, however in terms of quality, Alabardos greatly exceeds all of them. I know I might sound a bit over the top, but the place deserves the most excellent review for sure! I can't wait...

Excellent food and wine selection. Finally, a place where the wines really go well with the food and they can also present delicious, new wines from a less popular winemaker to the guests. And although it is true that it is fine dining, we were not hungry even after 3 courses. They paid great attention to every detail. Therefore, the guest can really feel "special" from the moment they arrive until they leave. Very nice atmosphere and professional service. Free tiny starters and deserts were very nice surprise. Great service, very nice and attentive. We had no problem speaking only English here. The wait staff was very polite and overall excellent. The whole restaurant was very beautiful and had a good atmosphere. By far the best part was the food. We had the pork sirloin with pork ear/cheek which was very good. And the duck was by far some of the best food in Hungary. We also got a few side dishes and appetizers which were inventive and tasty. Food was overall beautiful and delicious.
