The worst cup of tea I have ever had! The waitress added the milk without asking how much I would like, this ended up being a cup of warm milk, so I politely asked for another tea bag as the tea was totally undrinkable! I was shocked at her response and total lack of customer service and was told I would have to pay for it. I fully appreciate due to Covid your rules are such that the waitress adds the milk but have the courtesy to ask the customer how much they would like!! She then was happy to leave me sat there in the cafe knowing that I couldn't drink...

DELICIOUS! The hot chocolate was perfection... warm, silky, and with a balanced milk chocolate flavor. The chocolate covered donuts were fresh, soft, and fluffy. The ready made sandwiches were perfection as well. The bread was fresh, flavorful, filled with crisp crunchy lettuce, cucumbers, and with perfectly boiled eggs. The staff was pleasant, patient, and friendly. I am particularly a hard customer to please, as I dedicated 15 years working in a full service from scratch family owned bakery. Are you in the United States, looking for an amazing pastry on a cold wet day? Get on a plane or boat bound for Iceland then travel to the small town of Akureyri to go to Kristen's Bakery...it will be worth it. The pastries here are amazing...though to be fair, hard to find a bad pastry in Iceland.
