Say hello to this newbie in Vizag!!
Inspired by the latest trend of food places themed around shipping containers, this place has a great combination of creativity with food. This place is setup right on the main road near Delhi Public School in Lawsons Bay and has both indoor and outdoor seating available with some rooftop view kind of cozy setup and plenty of tables to accommodate enough groups. It is a multi cuisine restaurant and their menu has wide range of options to chose from Indian, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, American and Continental cuisines.
We tried 'Majestic Chicken' from their menu and we really loved it. We asked them to make it spicy and they made sure we got what we wanted. The chicken was soft and juicy and met our expectations. We also tried 'Fried Chicken Fingers' and it was really yummy as well and was similar to that of the Fried chicken popcorn concept that we get at KFC however it was in bigger sized pieces. We also wanted to try out some drinks along with the food but as of now they have not started the cafe menu and it will be live soon in a week or so.
It was great interacting with the owner who was very polite and was friendly. He took time to give us a walk through on the latest additions that are going to come up soon in this place. It is nice to know how the name of the restaurant originated from the aerial view of this place which represents a '#' symbol. They are going to add in board games, play stations, pool board and live music along with free wifi for the customers and am sure its going to become a great hangout spot soon.
Overall we had a nice experience and we will definitely be visiting them back soon. I will definitely recommend you guys to try out this place.

Read moreThe concept of this cafe is Hashtag! Ariel view of the cafe represents a # shape. The seating arrangement in this cafe is in cabins which are air-conditioned. A decent place to visit for some varieties of food dishes. A good ambiance inside. Allows smoking too, but is situated outside the cabins. It can accommodate more than 40 people as this place is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is very good and vast with lot of varieties and prices are fairly reasonable containing Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, American and Continental. They also have a separate menu of beverages and shakes. The staff here are decent and food is served with not much of wait time. Food platting is okay. The cafe remains closed from 4 to 6:30pm as it's a break time. It seems they are planning to have a small gaming zone which has PSP with bean bags. Snooker and live music will also be available soon on weekends once everything is sorted. They accept Paytm, Google Pay and Phone pe and cash by customers. It's situated near the main road, and can be visible easily. The concept of cabins designed cafe is something new in Vizag with decent prices. They are planning to have a special place for art which includes photography. The owner takes an extra effort to interact with the customers regarding the taste and satisfaction of the food and whether any improvements needs to be made further. Overall a good experience with tasty food. Cleanliness is there and place is tidy. Satisfied for the price of food...
Read moreI visited @hashtagrestocafe today and had the worst experience ever. So the following are the things that happened in line of order:-
I placed an order for a cappuccino and a chicken Caesar salad. The response I get is “not available. But I’ll make it for one person”. Though a baffling answer, I okayed it. What arrived was a complete disaster. Never in my life did I eat a Caesar salad with sweet corn in it. I asked for regular water at room temperature. Btw, it never arrived. Maybe it did after I left; I wouldn’t know! There were no paper napkins on the table. Nor did they bring them with the order. The cappuccino was a shocker! It was being served from the regular cafe coffee day machine which we find in offices. I mean, if I wanted a cafe coffee day cappuccino, I might as well have gone to cafe coffee day right? Why go to hashtag? And no brown sugar was available. The very request seemed baffling. The flooring was bad and since I was sitting on the first floor, every time someone walked, the whole floor was shaking miserably. My table and chair were rocking. The cheque took forever so I walked down to make the payment. Card payment not available and bill printing machine apparently broke down.
Never visiting this place again!!! The kind of confidence the owners showed in talking about the place, wish they had shown it in the basic prerequisites of...
