Ironhill Nellore — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

I’m giving this restaurant 1 star — not for the food or ambiance, which we unfortunately never got to experience — but for a shocking and discriminatory encounter at the entrance. Our group of 9 had a reservation. I arrived wearing a fully covered kurta and pancha (veshti) — traditional Telugu attire — only to be denied entry by the security staff, who claimed traditional wear is not allowed. At no point during the booking process was this restriction mentioned. We politely explained that this is not just clothing, but a reflection of our culture and identity. Yet the staff were completely inflexible and dismissive. It's deeply disheartening — and frankly unacceptable — to witness our own heritage being treated with such disrespect, especially at an Indian restaurant, in our own country. Such a great place in nellore that is having boostup music and food also people who are intrested to booze with family can have almost all varieties of liquor. There is saperate place for both family and regular bar type setup with longue inside. Cocktails and mocktails are also there. I visited this recently and tasted prawn, chicken varieties here. Among them koli chips is the best that i had tasted for the first time here. The chicken kabab is also fine. Schezwan chilly grilled prawns is the worst that is served here it tastes like uncooked and heavy smell is coming from them like it was uncleaned dont go with this item when you went. Grilled herb rice with mixed nonveg varieties is also awsome here. IPL live is also going on in this place with team flags around. Beer making setup is available inside.
