Anyways...ambience is just a careless mess. Did not look hyp or happening. Was full of kids....including ours...lol.
Seating arrangement is a big issue here. Uncomfortable postions as it is open air....and on a sunny day...you wd be sitting in direct sunlight.
Fans are not placed at all places. And I as luck wd have it got a place where ther was neither fan not the misty water the place sprinkled. I had a miserable sweaty lunch.
Coming to the food ...did nt impress me one bit. Were too oily, too salty. And did not taste good. For example the crispy veg were all soggy and excessively salty, these should dishes not exist on the menu if this is what gets served.

As for the food, it can't quite compare with Casa Piccola, boasting a similar, albeit smaller menu. If you want to treat yourself to a full meal here, libation of your choosing included, the bill would set you back by 1,000 bucks, but that's the price for indulgence. Otherwise, a single main course dish and the booze of your choice would come up to about 500.
All in all, Barley & Grapes is memorable enough to return to, and a great place to go to...
