Even though Burger King is a new player in the era of KFC and McD, they have managed to open some decent numbers of outlets across Bengaluru. This particular outlet is located right opposite to MSR Campus. Since it was the cashless day, I decided to drop here by evening for a late lunch as I can use cards here.
AMBIENCE: Whether its cashless day effect or the odd timing, the entire store was empty. They have an elegant ambience. There are different kinds of seating arrangements to suit all kinds of crowd. Lighting is really cool with the variety of ambient lights and some of the corners make a perfect place for a romantic dine-in. Serving counter is situated in the middle of the restaurant and kitchen is big. On negative side about the Ambience, when I visited they were playing loud Kannada Music in the kitchen and Western music in the dining area. I got irritated as both music mixed up and it just became inaudible noise. Apart from music, air conditioning was not working at the time and as I rode almost 15KMs in traffic to reach this place, I felt suffocation.
SERVICE: Its to the point, feels like as if robots are serving. Wish they had robots only to serve at this place because at least robots will get the order right. I asked for Medium Meal and the lady at the counter placed Regular Meal order. Even when the entire store is empty and I'm the only customer who is placing the order, they got the order wrong then imagine what would be the situation during rush hours.
FOOD: I ordered Veg Chilli Cheese Burger Meal. The bun used in burger was soft just the way I like it, but the burger was not so hot. The slices of Jalapeno was very less and it didn't gave such spicy taste at all. Potato fries on the other hand was hot and crispy but not as tasty as KFC's. And when it comes to coke, it seemed to be too diluted even without ice. They supplied only one sachet of ketchup, after seeing their pathetic service I didn't wanted to ask for some more ketchup.
EVERYTHING ELSE: Parking can be an issue for both two and four wheeler as this store is located in a busy junction. Hygiene has been maintained well all over the place but cleaning staffs are too lazy. I saw some leftover tray on a table on extreme left corner of the store when I entered the store and nobody bothered to clean the table till I left this store. Washrooms are maintained well.
FINAL VERDICT: Poor service and above average food. This can be only a least alternative to McD and KFC on New BEL...

The veg burger at this Burger King location is noteworthy, delivering on both taste and value. The patty is well-seasoned, and the fresh ingredients give it a satisfying crunch, making it an enjoyable option for vegetarians and burger lovers alike. Priced reasonably, it’s a budget-friendly choice without compromising quality, which makes it ideal for students and nearby hospital visitors.
While the ambiance is comfortable, with clean tables and seating, the location does lack dedicated parking space, which can be a drawback for those driving to the spot. However, the efficient layout inside ensures a relaxed dining experience, with ample seating for those who wish to dine in.
Overall, Burger King on New BEL Road is a solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal with a seamless ordering process. It’s a convenient and tasty option in the area, especially for...
Read moreI was at the place last evening and the staff allowed a dog inside the restaurant premises. A lady staff assigned to make burgers inside the kitchen even came out to the table, to pet the dog carry it around in her arms where the dog was brushing against her apron and later she wiped her hands off the apron. When I enquired if the place is pet friendly, the staff confirmed that it’s not and yet they allowed the guests with the dog to dine there. The dog was sitting on the chair and later was given free hand at climbing the table as well. The staff did nothing to take precautions to address the matter, rather encouraged the situation. I recommend that the FDA visit such places on a regular pace to keep a check on such things happening. From the way the staff and the guests behaved, it appeared that this is a regular instance of dogs being allowed inside a restaurant that is not pet friendly. To add to it, the place had apparently run out of desserts on a Sunday evening Extremely disappointed. Hope this message reaches Burger King and they take any necessary precautions and actions against the event and the staff that were aligned to work on the 9th February 2025 around 7 pm. Burger King is welcome to reach out to me as needed. Should have taken pictures of this, pretty positive the CTV cameras might have captured...
