I use to go here just because of gatti chatni, which many hotels doesnot provide even on request these days.

But probably their kitchen staff (particularly - parcel team is changed) .

Today I ordered for 4 masala dosas, 4 vada & 1 kesri bhat. Totl cost - 427 rs.

Initially the dosa tawa was totally empty but the parcel counter guy even after taking my token was not asking to make the dosas for more than 5 to 7 mins. Then when I asked him, he ask to make the dosas with a very lathegic body language & expression.

In the mean time my Dosas were ready, they packed it and another guy was complaining that parcel counter is not processing his order which was placed more than 15 to 20 mins and many others got their parcels who placed their order after him.

Here the issue started. They gave him one of dosas paked for me and requested me to wait for 10 mins. Where as my all items were already packed.

My issue is, by the time my forth dosa comes, all other items ll get cold as they were already packed.

I asked them how come they gave an item packed for me to some one else!

They again started arguing and asking Sir give us 10 mins. Question is why!!! So I asked refund. Finally they refunded me in full after wasting my time and spoiling my sunday mood.

Finally same items, same quantity I got parceled from a UDUPI veg restaurant ( Hulimavu road - opposite to krishnakuteer road - a small and new hotel, serves with gatti chatni, nice behavior)forgot the exact name of the hotel, this time it costs me just 230 rs.

I feel the time has come that customer should avoid such outlets who don't value their customers.

@owner - I used to be a regular customer of yours but day by day your team feels like customers have no choice rather than standing at your counter.

Today you are loosing one customer, I hope this is not the end.

Location: Right opposite Dmart Akshayanagar, making it easily accessible.

Ambiance: The restaurant offers both self-service and service areas, with the latter located on the top floor with AC. However, the overall ambiance was underwhelming.

Food: Unfortunately, the food quality did not meet expectations.

Rava Onion Masala: Lacked any discernible flavor, with no hint of masala.

Chilli Garlic Noodles: Had an unpleasant smell and was tasteless, rendering it inedible.

Vadapav: Surprisingly sweet, a flavor profile that is uncommon and unappealing.

Beverages: The limited beverage options were disappointing. Only carbonated drinks (Coke and Sprite) were available, with no juices, milkshakes, or ice cream.

Overall Impression: Given the underwhelming food quality and lack of beverage variety, Kalkal Kai Ruchi, Nyappanahalli,Akshayanagar is not recommended. The experience was far from satisfying, and it's unlikely that I would return or recommend...

Good place to spend time and dine or have snacks or may be juz a cup of tea with your family and friends! Very good Ambience, easy to locate , prime place , inviting entrance . Taste of food is great ! Anything you order from the menu you won't be disappointed. So far I have tasted their Masala dosa , Butter Masala dosa, Poori sagoo, Idly , Paav bhaji and my favourite their veg meals for lunch . No complaints about taste but they can add more snacks items like Bonda soup , Bajji's and so on... Tea and coffee tastes great! Must try ! It's a pure vegetarian hotel. They have fine dining space at the 1st floor and there is price difference, to note. But that's alright because it a lovely place. Service was on time , it's sometimes crowded during peak hours which says it's a must try place ! Overall I'm happy that we finally have a place like this to spend our evening...
