Loft 38 — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Spectacular place with some mouthwatering dishes. I was browsing through Zomato looking for some great lunch deals where I saw their corporate lunch offer which was not only interesting but also hard to miss out. Me and my colleagues left to this place full speed.

Ambiance: They have outdoor and indoor section. We preferred to sit inside as it was a lil humid outside. The inside decor is bright, very energetic and lively. I can't wait to visit this place when there's a party happening! The seating is mostly sofas on the first, second and third floor respectively.

Food and drinks: So for the corporate lunch, you are allowed to select any 3 dishes( excluding prawns/mutton) from their entire menu. That's fabulous right? We were ecstatic when the waiter said this. Without killing more time, we ordered

Also, in their happy hour menu, drinks were dirt cheap. So we ordered

I must say. For the price you pay, this offer was a total value for money. The food was delicious, very well prepared and served hot. Every dish had its own taste good factor. I really couldn't rank the dishes. But yes, if there's one dish I loved the most, I would say Pizza go chu jang chicken. Thin crust pizza with cheese, flavored minced chicken and herbs make this dish a must try. Murgh malai kabab was also a stunner. It was tender and well cooked. Went extremely well with the mint chutney.

The drinks were really fresh and strong. Hats off to the bartender.

Service was good and quick. Would definitely visit them...

Disappointing Experience at Loft38

I’ve been a loyal patron of Loft38, even hosting two of my office parties there in December. Since then, it had become our go-to weekend party hub. However, my recent visit after a month was extremely disappointing.

The quality of food and service has drastically declined. When I requested to speak with the manager (someone who had been very helpful during my previous visits), the steward informed me that the management, staff, and even the manager had completely changed. There was no senior staff member available to address our concerns.

Sadly, this visit was far from the Loft38 we once enjoyed. The place has lost its charm and now feels more like a roadside bar. The music system was of poor quality, the DJ's song selection was uninspiring, and the staff's behavior was unprofessional and rude. Shockingly, I even saw rats on the floor — it made me question if the chicken we were served was even safe to eat.

The washrooms were in a horrible state, with water leaking in the female toilets. Overall, it was a completely unpleasant experience.

Despite being a long-time customer with many good memories at Loft38, my group and I have now decided never to return. I’m not sure how this place still holds a 3.9 rating — it deserves no more than a 1.9.

This place is over hyped not worth the amount of money they charge. It was a special day we invited a few friends along to celebrate. Saw an add on Bollywood nights at 7:30PM and hence reserved online a table for 7. As we reached I could see the board Valet parking available but couldn’t find anyone I had to park the car and go inside ask the receptionist for the valet and she goes to find him on his phone sitting inside their parking. My daughter had a bad throat and we asked for some hot water to my surprise they don’t serve normal water you have to order water bottles what kind of a dance bar would not serve some hot water for the guests. We had to wait for over 25 mins to get our food and drinks delivered. The bill had a service charge for over 1200 for an over all bill of 9500/- When I asked them to remove it their response was very rude the manager there a bald guy was raising his voice for no reason. He shows me the menu and says we have written in the menu that we levy service charge and you shouldn’t have ordered. I paid the bill anyway dint want to make a big fuzz on it. But still such audacity to treat a guest is ridiculous. Their toilets are so bad 🤮 The sofas are so old and the food served was pathetic. Very bad service and very badly maintained.
