Sherlocks is a nice pub to enjoy some quality time with friends. The ambiance is great, and the interiors are well done. The whole interior follows a darker colour palette and offers for more personal communication without being distracted by ones surroundings the music is also from a good selection of popular and 70s music. The music is not so loud that you can't hear each other and not so soft that you hear your neighbours. On days when there is a cricket match/football match the match would be projected onto the screens so that one may watch the match. The pub is spread over two floors ie the ground and the first floor. The first floor also has balcony - seating. The food here is good! Especially their appetizers. The crunchy fried wings are fantastic, while Their fries are amazing! The pizzas that one is served here are also pretty good. The pizzas are all thin crust. The sauce used on the margherita pizzas is exceptional. They have a good selection of drinks, and the bartenders are more than capable of producing cocktails that are to die for. The Sherlocks sling and Sherlocks breeze are amazing and one should try these. They have in addition to these, all the liquor one would generally find in a pub- whiskeys, rum, tequila, vodka, etc. The prices here are very reasonable or low for a place as nice as this. There is parking space outside the establishment, on the road for both two wheelers and for four wheelers. It is rare that one has to park a good distance away from the pub. Sherlocks was originally in the same location many years back. It had been shut down for a few years. The pub has recently been either rebranded or management has changed and it has seen it's rebirth as a better place, which is much more comfortable for people to spend some time in. The regarding has also included the creation of a brand with many pubs in various parts...
Read moreSherlock's Pub in Frazer Town, Bangalore, stands as a testament to the city's vibrant pub culture, offering an enticing mix of good food, lively ambiance, and an extensive selection of beverages. Having visited this establishment twice, I've been consistently impressed by the quality of service and the overall experience, which makes it a notable spot in the bustling neighborhood.
The pub's theme, inspired by the famous detective, adds a unique charm that complements the lively atmosphere, making it an ideal venue for social gatherings or a relaxed evening out. The menu is diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes with delicious options that promise to satisfy. The staff is attentive and friendly, contributing to the positive experience with their prompt service.
However, the main challenge faced during my visits was the parking situation. The limited parking space can be a significant inconvenience, particularly during peak hours. Despite this, the overall excellence of Sherlock's Pub makes it worth the minor hassle, ensuring a great...
Read moreOk firstly this place is renamed Baker's Street now. I've been there several times in the past, but reviewing for the first time. Convenient place to hang out with friends after a long hard day at work and drink some beers. Nothing more nothing less. It's not fancy, waiters aren't the cream of the crop or anything. Just a very mediocre pub with mediocre food and mostly a large selection of alcohols. Smoking is allowed. I think it popular because it's been around since pretty much when Bangalore barely had any pubs and was fast becoming the 'pub city'. And I've been many many times since then. The food is very ordinary, and super spicy, I mean like loads of crushed pepper or loads of green chillies. You won't even be able to taste the dish after a few bites. You will have to guzzle mugs of beer to wash all that spice down. Wait! Maybe that's the idea? Would I go back? Hell yeah! It's so conveniently located in the heart of my side of town, inexpensive, no frills, you get what you pay for, and reminisce the...
