The Meal house Andhra style veg and non veg — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place serves the taste of the nellore(Andhra style). Nellore people are popular for their cooking and flavoured dishes(natural). Either Meals or Biryani. It's good quality and taste. Only con is curry isn't available or some random curry which isn't great. Sometimes everything is good and sometimes one item maynot be good but overall Sambhar is good, Dal is good, curd & papad/fries are good. Restaurant people are polite. Overall it's good. Can visit with families but ambience is not par with reputed restaurants, bachelor's or alone/with friends can visit. Not a bad place. This place is not exclusive for south Indians, other curries are good with roti. So, good north Indian food can be availed. I've seen people coming from IBM, TCS and tech parks to eat. So, not a bad place. Parking troubles are there, don't come in a car. Veg meals is 90, Non veg meal(chicken) - 140, Biryani is also 140 i guess. No additional charges. Another great mess type Andhra food, loved my recent visit here, the best was the Pappu & pachadi. For me it has always been these two which make or break an Andhra restaurant or a mess style place.

For many who call the Pachadi as chutney, here is a little interesting fact. traditionally in Andhra households, the pachadi is made by mixing tamarind, coconut, & chillies to the vegetable side pieces, sometimes made with the peeled skin of the vegetables too. For example if today side to the meal is brinjal, then they make brinjal pachadi.

The Pappu here was balanced, not to overpowering with spice or sourness, the Pachadi however was nice & tangy, you would love it here. The place does not have an exclusive 4 wheeler parking, you can park on the main road, however that might be difficult on weekday lunch hours.

unlimited veg meals for just 90 rs. taste is very good and i came to know that they use GTS Bullet rice which is of very good quality. when i paid for the meal and chilli chicken after getting my token sat infront of huge banana leaf filled with curries personally i loved daal, oil fried curry when i asked for more they inhesitantly served more.
