The Aahar Kendra of the state government of Odisha at Durga Mandap Nayapalli Bhubaneswar is one of the cleanest centres in the state. It daily feeds about 550 people for the lunch. It's a crowded centre due to many working people & college going students around nayapalli area. The ticket counter opens at 11am and closes by 12.30 pm within which the tickets are sold out. Failing to avail ticket within this time one may not be able to get food. Well cooked Dall & rice is served here to mass with Rs. 5 per ticket per person. Pickle is served twice in week. A filter for drinking water is there but damaged still not repaired yet. I complained a couple of times for the same but of no use. Even I called the center managing authority, the care-taker but they too did not give heed to mine. If you wanna visit this place, I wish you well and good time there.
