My review may sound a bit biased as I personally do not like the so called “Unlimited meals” concept in restaurants.
In regards of the Barbeque Culture, below is my review on different parameters that I could assess.
Food : Since this is “Unlimited” you will find almost all type of starters / soups / salads etc. normally served everywhere in bulk. The kind it was tasting I suppose & assume that the same was freshly prepared. Some bakery items I feel were not fresh though.
Ambience / Hotel Infrastructure : As per the seating arrangement / layout of the hotel. There are basically 3 different zones as I could observe. The Main Dining hall, the Buffet counter hall & the Open to sky space where in few tables are placed. Its needless to say that they have spent a lot on the ambience of the restaurant & the same is decorated with too much of lighting. However at one of the men’s washroom area I observed that things were not managed well. The WC was a bit messy & even the jet spray was in broken condition. (A small thing to highlight but can make a difference on an overall impact on the customer.)
Service : Too much of staff is employed here & one will observe the serving people always running here & there with either taking meals from the kitchen to the tables or picking up the empty dishes. Ground staff is ok & is quick in serving however one of the staff’s (The one who attends guests at the very entry & is seen in English formals) behavior needs a lot of improvement. Decency & politeness was missing in his tone & approach. (Rest all others encountered over there were ok).
General observations: Though the place is names as Barbecue culture its only 4-5 items which are served under this category. Most of the 85 – 90% of the items are the same age old traditional things. Point is that the number of items in the barbecue category is not in focus. Overall environment of the premises is like a wedding a function (i.e. loud, staff consistently running here & there & so on…) Items which are to be taken by self-service looks really very odd. (It gives bad feeling especially in the peak timings / rush hours. Roaming here & there with plates in hand after paying such hefty prices & people rubbing shoulders is really awkward.) When getting into an unlimited food outlet, trust me the satisfaction of having a complete meal is normally absent. It’s the human tendency of masses that a person tries to taste every other attractive item displayed on the table & ultimately at the end of the day feels that “now he can’t have any more” that too only after consuming paneer / cheese & bread in bulk.
Overall it’s is an “ok” for any mass gatherings / party to be hosted. People who are looking for “quality time & dining experience” may not like this place because of the consistent loud noise / chaos / rush at self-...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Barbecue Culture Gandhinagar
My recent visit to Barbecue Culture Gandhinagar was a major letdown. The service was incredibly slow – each pizza took nearly 10 minutes to arrive at the table. This agonizing wait time completely disrupted the flow of the meal, making for a frustrating experience.
To make matters worse, the staff displayed a rather rude demeanor, adding further negativity to the night. Considering the price of dinner – a hefty 450 rupees – the experience was simply not worth the money.
Limited Vegetarian Options:
For vegetarians like myself, the selection was incredibly disappointing. It felt like they were only pushing fillers like corn and paneer. If you're looking for a wider variety of vegetarian grilled options, you'll be sorely disappointed here.
Beware of Pressured Reviews:
Be cautious when reading the positive Google reviews. There have been reports of the staff actually pressuring customers to write positive reviews right there at the table. This tactic makes those reviews highly unreliable.
Look for Honest Feedback:
For a more genuine perspective, I recommend checking the comments on their Instagram posts. You might find a clearer picture of customer experiences there.
Recommendation:
In short, I would strongly advise against Barbecue Culture Gandhinagar. You can get a much better value and service at nearby restaurants like Domino's, Mc Oliver's, or Papa John's. Save your money and choose a more enjoyable dining...
