La Cupula Jubilee hills — Restaurant in Hyderabad

It happened on Jan 1st,2024

I called to La cupula to enquire about the birthday celebrations. Initially I opted for basic package. There are 3-4 packages like basic, gold, premium etc. but manager Chitra will keep on hyping about the packages other than basic. We will give a rose bouquet, fire crackers etc.

Chitra used to reply me as quick as possible before I book but when I messaged her for the feedback she is not even replying She replied later saying that she will look into the issue lol 🤣 what is the use of looking when you cant even provide the service you promised for gold package.

They asked us to wait for 20 mins because the previous night i.e Jan 1st,2024. 100s of people partied there for NY and there is no staff to clean and its not refundable when I asked to return the amount.

They somehow arranged cupula. They didnt provide me the rose bouquet which they mentioned in the gold package. We are 2 people who went there. In order to compensate it. They suggested to have one extra main course and starter. Who wants to eat again. Might be their trick to save money on bouquets.

Funny and interesting part, please concentrate. If you opted basic package you wont get rose bouquet but if you somehow want it there they will charge 1000 rs for it. So i asked to provide me 1000 back, they mentioned there is no such policy to return back the money.

With the package itself we got 2 starters and one main course. The dumbest reason they gave for not having bouquet is, since its 10 PM we couldn’t able to get the rose bouquet. I pre booked it 5 days earlier. 🤣🤣

I asked another manager about this, but he is completely clueless what is happening. Dont know how they got the job there. Simply a bunch of dodgers 😂

They are simply cheating people with the good photos being taken long back.

Please guys dont waste your valuable time and money here by spending 5k,12k,18k on basic, gold, premium packages.

Instead go to some good restaurants and spend some 3-4k for 2 people with amazing service and food.

It's a concept based restaurant, their idea is nice, staff are polite, here we booked a cupula in a Gold Package, which costed me 10,500 rupees for booking it. It's basically a 4 flooried house with a huge garden behind and they place their cupulas everywhere, mine I got on Roof top, these Cupulas are plastic domes with a air cooler attached to them , we got a welcome with 2 flower pots and few rose petals thrown at us , which is okay but not a wow feeling to surprise you for the price you pay. They gave us a small butterscotch cake which tasted good on entry, welcome drinks are below par , they are very colourful tasted like local drinks on road side ice gola wendors. Food is horrible , needs a lot of improvement, you get a stale biryani without a salan, when you ask for it , they said maximum you can get a raita here, lol. They said you can choose food for starters and main course which you will get in the package , more than 50 percent of items in menu are not available 😑. Prawns are only on menu, not even a single dish was there. Fish also they have only 1 item. The available Chicken 🐔 is below par and tasted bad. Only the chicken wings were good. Finally it started to rain 🌧 in the evening, it was a beautiful experience until water started leaking into my cupula, sick. I got upset cause, the day I visited I was the only one who booked a Gold Package and got a below average cupula , the ones in the garden are good rather than the ones in the building, I have no idea why they did it when I asked to give me a good one, it was not busy. Staff are nice, but over all not that great or nor bang for the buck. It's more of a experience than good food place. Last, they have a photographer here too who charges 3K for photos, ask your 3 year old kid to click pictures who can take...

Absolutely appalling service. Such a waste of money. They take so much even for the basic package and it’s really a mediocre decoration with all old things (the stickers, the decor). You feel like you’re paying so much money, the least they can do is make it feel worth it. The sofas are dirty, torn. It’s more of an obligation from their side.

In my package, food wasn’t included. I sat with my partner in the filthy cabana and waited for 20 minutes for someone to show up. Nope. I go down, and I’m told “food isn’t part of your package.” So I’m like, yeah I know? But this is also a restaurant I can just order food, can’t I? It took them an additional 15 minutes to come to me after that and then I’m told It’s better for me not to order anything because there is a party going on in the kitchen is very busy. You are a restaurant, of course you’re going to be busy on a Saturday night, you can’t just ridicule your customers like that. After some convincing to eat food, we are told They can’t serve us proper main course, And can only serve starters that they actually chose for us. French fries and chilli chicken. No bottle of water was given, no cutlery, no glasses.

To top of such an amazing evening, exactly at 11, one of their main guys, walks in and says can I get the cheque for you? For the bloody amount of money you take, you really are a disgusting place.

I would highly not recommend this to anybody. Get your own decorations do it yourself, It’s going to be more tiring, but it’s definitely going to be worth it monetarily and emotionally.
