Before my visit to the place,I'd been looking at many of friends stories & posts of this place & decided to pay a visit once. So, finally I visited this place on a Sunday for lunch with a bunch of my foodie friends. First things to be mentioned, only couples are allowed to this place. That was a bit disappointment to me. But, this is the only place in this area which has cool ambiance, dance floor, drinks & all. I'm lucky to have this place opened near my place. So, I don't have to go to Jubilee hills area to chill out with my friends all the time. . This place has got indoor seating on the ground floor & a roof top as well. And,both the floors are set up with a bar neatly. I'd prefer rooftop to sit & chill with a view of our city😉. They've done such a great work in choosing colors of windows, tables & especially those wall arts. They are quite amazing with the designs on it. Kudos to the artist who has drawn some amazing art. . Moving on to food, Firstly we started our session with their special mocktails. Virgin mojito was very refreshing. I know, that's a basic Mocktail which you get almost in every restaurant, but there are quite a lot restaurants which compromise in the taste. Moonbean people have done it perfectly, like it was prepared how exactly it should be..!! PINACOLADA was good in taste ,but the powder was not mixed well in it. Virgin PINACOLADA was something special i've had here. The rainbow Mocktail was another colorful thing which was an amalgamation of three fruit flavors. That was Soo good. . In starters, pan fried chicken was overburnt on the outside, but so soft from the inside. It tasted nice, but not great. Chicken pista roll was covered with spices & it was one of those amazing starters in their menu. Lamb roast was juicy & dash a lime flavor added to it made this dish tastier. In veg, corn fingers were fried to the perfection & given with mayo which tasted wonderful. Chicken popcorn was fried well & it has got that right crunchiness to it. . Barbeque chicken steak which was given with chicken breast cooked in barbeque style which was applied with barbeque sauce and topped with some veggies & accompanied with flavored oil rice & crispy masala fries which was scrumptious & it was totally worth the money. Chicken Tikka biryani was another regular dish here which was subtle in spices & rich in flavor. Chicken Tikka was layered over rice very nicely & bringing the right flavor to it. We didn't have Desserts ,as they were out of stock . . Thanks, moon bean cafe & bar . Regards,...
Read moreVery amateurish venture. Half of the things mentioned in the menu card is unavailable very less choice of bear brand say about six out of that only 3 common like kingfisher was available, Chicken steak was very bad they have no idea how to go about it just a slab of baked meat with lots of oregano. ( Don't bother to try it), out of disappointment we ordered for chicken drumstick but what arrived was a little meat coated it lots of over cooked & nearly burnt cornflour coating & lots of bones, the quantity was also too less compared to other restaurants. The biryani was the only tasty product. Very poor table service the stewards don't have any knowledge about the types of spoon and provided us with serving spoons to eat the snacks & then with soup spoons to eat the biryani. The uncork the drinks without permission ,place the bottles with a bang, had to remind them to provide the accompaniments like sauce, salads spoons etc. Washrooms are not well maintained. There's no proper...
Read moreWe came here seeing the good ratings on Google to celebrate our wedding anniversary but to our utter disappointment and horror we experienced negative surprises one after another. There were no other beers except for kingfisher light & . The food we got were shockingly different from what we ordered. We had specially asked for non spicy food as we cannot consume too spicy food, they promised to serve zero spicy but gave us full fledged spicy food. There were RATS running around in the sofa section where we initially went to sit. And the AC was also broken there. The place looks utterly shady and feels shady and the service, food and drinks are pathetic. The high hopes we went with to celebrate our wedding anniversary were crushed way below than our expectations. And I swear if this was the last cafe on earth, I would never visit it again ever. I don't know how people are giving such great reviews about this place. It's horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to my...
