Norfest - The Dhaba — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Finally some places get ticked off in my list after a long time. Pending and now its done. Visited Norfest - the Dhaba in the PVR Next Galleria mall today and I'm a happy foodie at the end of the meal.

A cute little place with ample seating and nice decor throughout giving it vibrant woody feel. Clean menu and no nonsense dhaba selections , easy to pick and order. I loved the pricing of them which isn't cheap but steep either.

Ordered the following:

#TangdiChicken - typical dhaba style spicy enuf but not burning and chunky legs is all I want.

#AmritsariKulcha with #PindeChole - one huge kulcha stuffed with little masala and a dollop of butter oozing out and the super soft chole was bliss - 5/5 dish here

#MatarMushroom - good one but not the best I have had. Kids loved due to its smooth spiceless flavors.

Naans got to be the best I have had in recent times. Perfect texture for me and I can just tear it with one hand with ease.

With a pocket hit of jsut 1K for a meal, I would say its definitely worth the reviews I read and food truly satiated the GastroHogger appetite.

I like norfest not only for the taste also for the quality and the quantity of food that we had paid for. Unfortunately, in this branch i didn't like the taste but the quality and quantity are as usual 1st class. I ordered one veg and a non veg curry which were mentioned spicy in the menu but they are sooo flat, it's not even sp... in spicy 😅. Garlic bread and lacha parata were good as expected , stuffed mushroom were unique and good and the lassi was superrrr.

And the other worst thing is that, this is located very beside a pub in the mall. See i like to hear any kind of music or any song fine for me but, i only hear the bass without and music(from the pub)... without music if u hear only a random bass noise for a long time.... u will definitely go nuts🥲. And i guess even the staff or management of the hotel can't do anything. So better if u ar expecting a quiet or even jst a normal environment better avoid this branch.😌

Since located in the mall, there will not be a problem...

The ambience is tastefully done up and has a nice premium feel to it. This is a place oozing with warmth and a great level of hospitality of the ever so courteous staff. The food is of the highest quality and taste is yummy. The decor is suave and sophisticated enough to even impress my foreign returned friends. The seating capacity was around 30 and it was almost full at even 7 pm on a weekday! Just as you enter, there is a giant clock on the wall which is quite eye-catching. The lighting and the ambience of the place gives you a feel of high end fine dining from the moment you step inside.

The staffs were friendly and courteous. They went through all our queries with patience and even helped us to understand the differences between two dishes. They even proactively asked us about repeat orders. Big hats off...
