Jail Khana — Restaurant in Jodhpur

An okay place to visit. Not a very amazing ambience. The music is always too loud so much so that one can't have a word with the people he/ she came with. Also, if the music is not kept at loud, the conversation that you have with your colleague/ person you visit the place with. Also, the last time I visited, we were not told the right price of the combo and though it's name was combo( as written in the menu) but later on we were told that it was our choice whatever we wanted to subtract, we could. Also we were not told that it wasn't a combo in real and the prices were not written too. Also, the place has payment issues. Digital payments are not accepted. The inconvenience caused due to this is realised when you have to visit the nearby atm for cash withdrawal which is not very near too. If you have a vehicle of your own it is nice otherwise you are bound to get tired. I visited this place in summer months of April May and man I had difficulty in processing payments. As the name suggests, it's a restaurant designed on the theme of a Jail. The restaurant has different cabins resembling prison cells. I ordered a burger and shake at their place. Unfortunately the food was poor in taste and overpriced with respect to quality of food being delivered. Adding to my woes was the loud bass music that they choose to play at full volume. Despite request, they choose to keep it pumped up giving me a bad headache. And they added a mineral water bottle to my bill which I didn't even open. When I tried to return the same, staff person expressed his helplessness stating ab to bill ban gaya sir.

Okay ambience. Food was really pathetic. Ordered mysore masala dosa. Sambar was cold, chutney had no taste, aloo masala was under cooked, dosa was not crisp. Totally waste of money. Had 2 bites and left the whole item. When informed the manager at desk he said cook is not there. If cook is not there they should close the restaurant until the cook returns. Informed him that we left the food and he did not even had the courtesy to say I am sorry sir since you have not liked and eaten we will not charge you.
