The Book Café Lounge — Restaurant in Jodhpur

They opened this new branch recently, so went there in hopes of good food and coffee but I was extremely disappointed.

I can assure you that as delicious and tempting the photos i just posted look, the taste of both the pizza and coffee were probably the worst I ever had.

What is the point of being a Cafe if you can't even make a decent cup of Cappuccino? The coffee I ordered was utterly tasteless and watery. The pizza was equally Bland. Just good interiors and location doesn't guarantee a good food experience, afterall.

Oh and they don't provide you with regular water as well, so you have to buy those super-pricey good-looking water bottles. The one I ordered was of whopping Rs. 60. Please take your own water bottle (that is, if you still decide to go...

There were some problems here, as they were not serving all the things in menu. Italian and Chinese food was not being served at the time we went there. So that was a big turn off here. Secondly the couple sitting next to us was loud enough to screw our conversations every now and then. Thirdly, if you're someone who can not compromise with taste, this is not a place for you. An amazing cafe to hangout with inside and outside dining. Great ambience and good food. Pictures can be clicked in both inside and in the open area as well. Prices are reasonable. We ordered red and white pasta and hand tossed pizza - both were good in taste. The Frappe preparation is not up to the mark as Cafe Frappe, Hazlenut Frappe and Mocha Brownie Frappe were all similar in taste to Cafe Frappe.
