Sanskriti Multicuisine Veg — Restaurant in Maharashtra

On 29/10/2025, I ordered a parcel from Sanskruti Pure Veg Restaurant, located at Laxmipuri, Kolhapur. Unfortunately, the food quality was extremely poor and completely unacceptable.

When we opened the parcel at our hotel, we found that all six wheat rotis were completely burnt and had holes in them. The so-called Dal Tadka had no dal at all — it was just a watery liquid mixed with besan (gram flour) and filled with oil, having no proper taste or aroma.

This clearly shows negligence, unhygienic preparation, and lack of honesty in serving food to customers. Such food is unsafe for consumption and violates basic food quality standards.

Photos of the burnt rotis, dal, and the bill have been uploaded as proof. This issue has also been reported to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for strict action against the restaurant for fraudulent and unhygienic food practices.

Sanskriti was recommended to us by the hotel staff where we were staying. It is located in Laxmipuri which is one of the crowded and congested parts of Kolhapur, and it would be difficult to find parking space if you are coming in a 4-wheeler. It is a nicely serviced vegetarian restaurant with brightly lit interiors and exteriors. The seating is a bit cramped but comfortable enough. They serve Thali meals but we ordered ala-carte; Veg Tawa with Indian breads, Naan and Roti. The Veg Tawa was quite heavy since it was cooked in ghee, though the breads were nice and crisp. I ordered veg toast..At evening.. Before ordering i ask them.. Whether it is available or not.. They say it's available..& after a half & hour wait..I get this as a toast for 70 rs..No cheese..No sauce..No vegetables..They cut cucumber with it's skin..Wow..I get 100000 better sandwich toast at 35 rs..So I would suggest to hotel staff..Plz check the menu whether it's available or not..& also in test.. All the best for the future of this hotel..Hope so they learn from...
