Read moreKrishna Restaurant is your local restaurant around the corner that you can trust to serve you good food with spicy flavors in their Indian and Chinese dishes.
It is located in Bandra East with a rooftop-like view to share with your food. The restaurant has an extensive menu with several Indian and Chinese dishes. The Indian dishes although being flavourful are slightly towards the sweeter side while the Chinese items from the menu are lip-smacking hot and spicy.
The variety of starters and different dishes would probably leave you confused, had the same effect on me but I got to know taste the good ones.
For starters, Chicken Lollipop Masala is one item from the menu not to avoid for sure. The huge lollipops are sauced with a hot tub schezwan masala sauce. It's spicy and flavourful. Sweet Chilli Tandoori Chicken is tender, juicy but slightly strange as it's sweeter than the chili part.
From the mains, Kala Masala Chicken is the specialty of this place. Curry like gravy is tasty with pieces of in-bone chicken. A combination tangy, hot and spicy to blow your mind.
Upon hearing that butter chicken would be more towards the sweeter side I decided for a Chicken Tikka Biryani which surprisingly to me was also slightly sweet equal to that of a normal butter chicken. The spicy taste if added here would work wonders and taste great.
The desserts here are subject to availability but if available the rabdi here is worth having, it's thick, sweet,...
