UNPROFESSIONAL AND GOT FOOD POISONING. The first time my girlfriend and I went to this cafe, the waitresses were extremely snooty and hostile towards her, we caught some of the staff making comments about her appearance and giggling which is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Despite this, we still went for a second time because the food was decent enough and it was the closest to our hotel, but oh boy do we regret it. This time around after I had two bites of my spring rolls, I IMMEDIATELY had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. We went to the counter to pay the bill and notified the female staff there who said “payment by cash or card?”, after I had explained to her what just happened in detail, IGNORING everything I said. The male staff who was working next to her was the only one who expressed his apologies and heard us out while the female staff who was our cashier ignored everything and was only bothered about “the payment method”. The other waitresses behind her too SAID NOTHING and continually ignored our concerns. I have no idea why there’s so many positive reviews for this place where the waitresses seem the least bothered and ignore you even after you throw up because of the food and how simply unremorseful they are about the whole ordeal. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE, this is Bali where there’s a lot of affordable restaurants around with great service, we only came here as it was closest to our accommodation but I IMPLORE tourists to go elsewhere. The staff definitely need more training to be...
Read more2days ago i asked for the chicken cordon bleu and the waitress (who told us she was new) said they have ran out of cheese, i tried to explain to her that i think this dish is already pre-made with the cheese already inside and i asked her to double check with the chef if this was the case, However she pretended to ask the chef and she came back and said sorry its made fresh and there is no cheese!! so today I returned and my girlfriend who doesn't eat pork asked for the same dish but without the ham, and to our surprise the waiter said sorry it is already pre-made. its really not nice to lie to your customers, we was overly nice to her and upon leaving i even helped her carry the chairs in from the rain. i hope if she remains a waitress she can learn from this mistake. We will not return after today because for a second time a different waiter who we told we don't like being lied to also lied! he told us the pizza was in the oven but after a 40 minute wait we clearly understood he was lying so we told him we are leaving. he said we don't have to pay for the pizza because after asking the kitchen staff he realised it wasn't in the oven like he said it was. honestly your place is cool and we have been visiting every time we come to ubud but we definitely won't be back...
Read moreA low-key cafe that’s unknown to most. It’s a bit of a drive from center, but the stillness of the place and the coffee is just worth going all the way here for. The food is surprisingly good too with the make-your-own breakfast (my partner got the mountaineer breakfast and he said it was real good) and not to mention very cheap compared to usual coffee and brunch places. Breakfast was around 50K, coffee was only 30-35K with milk substitute already!! Best win ever. We went back twice to this cafe. Ambiance is very chill ideal also for working, service can be improved but good enough

For management to improve on- service, staff missed out my order after waiting more than 10 minutes for it. Also to fix the additional charges on card - they said even if local card they will charge additional fee. Other cafes don’t do that. And extend menu to cater to gluten...
