Suis Butcher Braga — Restaurant in Bandung City

Went there around 4PM on June 15 with my children of 14 and 6 y.o.

I ask for non smoking section which led me to a mezzanine level. It's empty with few tables. The staff turn on the air-con after I ask. We choose on table close to the stairs. Which I notice that the table is dirty and spotted some dots residue from ketchups on the linen. The staff ask me to choose another table. Unfortunately the others also represent the dirtiness as well. So we stick to our table. And I told the staff that we might not need the linen. We just want to eat.

The staff went down, so we wait. 10 seconds... 20 seconds.... No one seems care that they have customers up there. My kid went downstairs and ask for the server. Another server went up. Different with the one who escort me. And hand us the menu. I wish to order salad, soup, steak and some finger foods.

The waiters told me that they are runs out of vegetables so they don't have salad at this moment. And also runs out of soup. Which is a can soup. Currently they only serve for steaks...

I love the atmosphere. A nice place to eat and chitchat with friends or family. But, it’s not completely indoor. It’s like semi outdoor area. So, there were some flies. I don’t actually mind since we could get rid of them anyway.

The price is quite reasonable. I ordered the Suis Prime Garlic Herb Butter & Mushroom. I enjoyed how tender it was. I barely noticed the herb butter taste. But, overall, it tasted okay tho.

However, I believe they could improve on the mushroom soup and mash potato. I guess the mushroom soup was made from instant powder. They just added some slices of mushroom. They should’ve added crushed mushrooms and made it from scratch. I tasted the mash potato from other dish. But, it wasn’t as creamy as I expected.

I’d like to add one more thing. The toilet is located too close from the table. There’s only curtain and slide door in the toilet. I couldn’t use the toilet in peace lol🤣 I suggest you to install a proper door and some kind like air...

So agreed if people said this is the best steak in town. With reasonable prices and delicious steak. They have choices of sauce, like mushrooms (the famous signature sauce, since years ago), BBQ, and black pepper. You also can decide how you like it to be cooked.

You also need to try their fresh salad. The greens are crunchy, served with creamy dressing.

The atmosphere is nice, but the sitting space feels so tiny. There is old piano in the corner that still works properly, and you can play it.

They have photo box on 2nd floor, but queuing feels forever.

Services are good, even it was took little bit longer to have your steak to be served on busy time, mostly...
