Atlantis Beach Club — Restaurant in Batam City

i usually go to blue fire next to it but decided to try here instead. came on a wednesday night so it was quite empty. music was great. the ambience was nice. we got a shisha pipe which was really not the best. ive had shisha before but this one was hard and old ? i guess would be a way to describe it. we had dessert, ordered a couple drinks and a coconut. mid way through drinking the coconut there was a fly that landed in so we asked for another one. as common knowledge literally everywhere else in the food service industry, if something happens due to uncontrollable circumstances ( like a fly landing in ur drink and getting another one ) u would only be charged for one drink. not 2. well they charged us for 2 coconuts and when asked why, it was because “ we drank it already “. the place is expensive aswell, 2 drinks + 2 coconuts😒, one dessert and shisha was close to 1JT. whereas as bluefire next door which i frequent often, i dont think ive ever gone over 750rb with multiple drinks and multiple people. moral of the story is, its understandable why bluefire is still packed on a weekday and this isnt. will...

Beautifully setup beach club with amazing atmosphere and really very huge.

We went in the evening around 6.30 pm but they said food can be served only after 8.30 pm which was ok accepted! They said no to even simple fries or nuts to go with drinks . No means no!

Half hour later the lady who was serving us said they will take the food orders but will only be served in 20 minutes so we ordered and then waited and waited and waited and waited but it never came . . . When we asked the waiter she said she will check, but never got back to us . . .and when we asked again she had no answer and instead asked us to order wine ! The food never came . . . And unfortunately we had to leave the place extremely dissapointed!

Very poor service. Zero for the food because we never got to try it and negative for the service because they had no idea what was happening in the kitchen.

Cocktails were average! Not recommended atleast for the time being until they figure out the issues. Otherwise it will just ruin...

The club is very new so it looks very good, everything is functional and nice. Hopefully this will remain. When the maintenance level drops, the price will be too high.

The food was very good. Other reviewers commented that it was above average standard, and I agree. The portions were generous.

One item was sold out. Because that was the case with the drinks as well, I told the waitress that I was unhappy being told that items on the menu were not available all the time. She went beyond her normal duty and contacted the kitchen if they could ‘whip the dish up’, and they agreed.

The staff is very attentative anyway.

They played nice lounge music at a good volume, we still could have a conversation. Then a band played a short set. That volume was too loud, we could barely hear each other. Lucky they only played a few songs.

The prices are high, everything is quite expensive for Batam.
