Gyu Katsu Nikaido — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

First of I just want to comment, what kind of restaurant closed during mall operational hour? I came here to eat around 11 am and they said, sorry we're closed. That's just odd, they open around 1 pm

Now for the food, for a restaurant called gyu katsu they dont know how to make katsu and handle the meat. The gyu katsu I got barely breaded and is stone cold, might as well just give me the raw meat to grill myself. Now I know we grill it again but the waiter didn't even gave me the grill not until someone remind that waiter, and then ask me do I want to grill? You think? Look at this stone cold meat. So amateurish. I'll give it a credit for the food seasoning but what good seasoning does if you cant even eat the food. The miso soup was decent but that's not the point is it

Do not recommend but if you must, most definitely don't order wagyu, waste...

So it should have been a red light when actually no one was in the restaurant when we turned up for a late lunch. Ordered 5 dishes, 4 hot, 1 cold, the hot dishes other than the miso soup were st9ne cold and tastless...the gyozas, every one of them had this gristle in them making them unedible...the miso soup we couldn't even eat, as it was so so salty, you needed a bottle of water to combat the salt. We didn't finish the meal, went to pay and then the waitress decided it was important for her to talk on her phone than acknowledge us paying customers, then overcharged us by telling us it was delivery and taxes, nothing shown in the menu, to our table in the actual restaurant. Terrible Terrible bad! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT...

Meh. For a place that specializes in gyu katsu, you could hv done better. (You only have one job!) The beef slices are thin and cold, batter isn't crispy, and.. basically it's a low quality gyu and doesn't taste good. Salad is overly dressed in vinegar , meh. The chicken katsu don taste way better than the gyu set, although it can't help the rating. For a price of 95k with this taste, it's really not worth it. Skip it.

PS : service is alright, there's only 2 tables occupied when we arrived so can't say much when...
