A Sunset Feast to Remember at Bingin Bagus From the moment we stepped onto the soft sands of Bingin Beach, it was clear that Bingin Bagus was not just a restaurant, but an experience waiting to unfold. Nestled directly on the beach, this seafood haven offers more than just a meal; it provides a front-row seat to one of Bali's most breathtaking sunsets, accompanied by a symphony of waves and a culinary delight that caters to every palate, even the fussiest of eaters. The evening began with a warm welcome from the staff, whose hospitality was as inviting as the balmy ocean breeze. The rustic charm of the open-air setup added a touch of simplicity, allowing nature’s beauty to shine through. As we settled into our seats, the sun began its spectacular descent, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. This natural backdrop set a remarkable stage for what was to become a memorable dining experience. Our culinary journey at Bingin Bagus was marked by an array of flavours, starting with their signature prawns. Fresh from the ocean, these prawns were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavour. Served alongside a generous portion of crispy chips, they were an instant hit not only with us adults but also with our eleven-year-old, who can be quite selective about food. The simplicity of the meal belied its taste, proving that quality ingredients need little embellishment. The menu, though focused on seafood, was diverse enough to promise something for everyone. Each dish that passed our table looked as enticing as the last, from grilled fish to seafood platters, all promising the freshness that only a seaside restaurant can offer. The drinks menu complemented our meals perfectly, with a selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic options that mirrored the tropical vibe of our surroundings. Service at Bingin Bagus was impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff seemed to anticipate our needs and were keen to share their recommendations, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. Their pride in their work and the cuisine they served was evident, making us feel not just like guests, but like part of a wider Bingin community. As the evening wore on, the sounds of the ocean provided a serene soundtrack to our meal. The casual, laid-back atmosphere allowed us to relax and truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of Bali. It’s a rare place that caters as well to romantic dinners as it does to family outings, but Bingin Bagus manages this with aplomb. In conclusion, Bingin Bagus is more than just a dining location; it’s a destination. For those looking to capture a slice of Bali's magic, to enjoy a meal that delights and an atmosphere that captivates, Bingin Bagus stands out as a beacon of culinary excellence and scenic charm. Whether you’re a couple seeking a romantic night out or a family wanting to enjoy a special evening together, Bingin Bagus promises an unforgettable experience. A true gem on the shores of Bingin Beach, it is a place we will certainly return to and recommend without hesitation.

Was not the easiest place to get to but that was part of the adventure! Once you arrive though, it was just magical, the place is not the cheapest if you compare to other places in Bali but in retrospect, having freshly grilled seafood on a beach for that price anywhere else in the world would have been astronomical and was reasonably priced. You choose what you want to eat and they will price you by the amount. We went twice and had the tuna, snapper, squid and shrimp. I absolutely recommend the shrimp and squid, they were amazing! Caution though while I'll say the first time was so good we went back the next day, the second visit it was not quite as good as the first (was not seasoned as well), so consistency can be a hit or miss. Regardless I would still recommend this place!

I mean you can’t get a better dinner view really! We grabbed food here at sunset (the only time to do it and is well worth waiting for!), toes in the sand, ice cold beers on the table. Walked up to the fresh catches of the day in big tubs to pick out our fish. We tried squid and Mahi Mahi which was tossed on the bbq. Both tasty, loved the Mahi Mahi, if I was picky the squid could have been a little more tender but the service was fab and all the food tasted great, (homemade hot sauce added to everything). Garlic greens were also very good. Prices very reasonable so will try and head back to try the snapper and tuna before we go home and of course the view!

Came down for a seafood dinner and it did not disappoint. You go up to order and choose your preferred seafood from the esky/tub at the front. There was a minimum 400g of prawns, so we got that and a whole snapper (these both came with rice and veg), then we also got chips on the side, and drinks. It cost us around 550,000. The seafood (cooked on a bbq on the beach) was mouthwatering and we ordered way too much food but couldn’t stop eating it. Drink choices are minimal, and rice was average - but it didn’t matter because the fish and prawns were so tasty! A must try dinner in Bingin.

One trick pony, which is fine... If they get that trick right, don’t go a second time, or help them help you - get there early! They have one box of fish, one of squid, one of prawns and one of beer. All the food is fresh and cooked on coals Balinese style which is delicious. Not all their fish is snapper (they point to every fish and say snapper). First meal was a highlight, second meal was a miss (we got there late). But seafood in the sand is always gonna be pretty good!

THIS is not to be missed! I ate earlier the evening and decided to go for a walk on Bingin and stumbled upon all the fresh seafood vendors. I had to eat again!!! It's an amazing atmosphere with fresh fish, mussels, squid and prawns on offer served with veggies made on charcoal fires and enjoyed sitting right on the beach. I would have eaten here every night if I found it earlier. They weigh the fish and mussels so you can end up having a wide variety of options.
