WORST STAFF AND RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.. if you want to be disrespected and verbally attacked you will have fun with this restaurant. I went there with my parents and we were explained that some food from the menu is coming from different staff and the fresh fish is not yet available (they said max 15-20mins arrives). We waited 30 mins and then we asked about the fish and they said another 10mins. Meanwhile the waiter for starters didn’t come to us for those 30-40 mins so I needed to go to manager to finally take our order while we wait. 50 mins pass we still sipping our drink but no starter and no fish. I asked again the staff at the barbecue if they have other fish available because we waiting for an hour now. The guy “Borgs” at the barbecue verbally attacked me that if I don’t like it I can go somewhere else. He said it’s not his problem but mine basically. I was just kindly and still patiently asking for help and if we can order something else. They said at that point nothing was available anymore. So I urged them to get us the starters at least because for that we waited just as long.
This rudeness got me absolutely disgusted and I wanted to leave. Eventually we got it served after 1,15hrs. They came to us 1,30 mins that the fish has arrived so we can queue up… the queue had 15 people in it which would have taken another 30 mins to get it ordered (not even SERVED!!!). So we said we finish the starter and we leaving asap. Meanwhile we kept seeing people leaving because they could deliver one drink in 30mins..
I went to pay for the bill, I was sent to 2 different places. The drink place asked me what I ordered and I repeated two times what we had. She charged me for 3 different drinks which were much more expensive. I asked her why is she overcharging me and then she accused me of asking for those drinks.. when I clearly repeated myself multiple times. She almost didn’t want to refund me.. gave me back in cash when I called her out properly .
Biggest hospitality disappointment in Bali and perhaps even elsewhere. They disrespected, verbally attacked, disregarded and lied to the customers. Honestly please avoid this place they don’t deserve your time nor your money.. 🙏🏼 god bless they understand what basic hospitality and professionalism means - that kindness...
Read moreOn our visit to this place, we arrived just in time to catch the sunset! It seemed like a great start, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.
We began with the Crispy Calamari, which came in a surprisingly large portion—four servings in total. It was a decent appetizer, but when we moved on to the Shrimps and Oysters, the flavors were underwhelming, and neither dish impressed us. Feeling unsatisfied, we decided to try something different and ordered a variety of other dishes, including Burgers, Nasi Goreng, Mee Goreng, and Chicken Cashew Nut.
Out of everything we tried, the Nasi Goreng was the most disappointing. It was bland, with no spice or real flavor, and the portion was quite small. The chicken satay that came with it had tiny, almost unnoticeable pieces of chicken, making the dish feel incomplete. Their local dishes especially need a lot of work—not just effort but a real focus on enhancing both quality and taste.
To make things worse, the service was slow and frustrating. We waited over 25 minutes just for some sparkling water and a couple of beers. The delay really impacted the overall experience.
The final straw was the location. Despite the lovely sunset view, the restaurant is far from the main road. After parking, we had to walk about 2000 steps down steep stairs to get there. While the walk down was manageable, the return trip, especially after an underwhelming meal, was exhausting. Climbing back up felt like it took forever, leaving us feeling more irritated.
This was just my personal experience—others might have had a better time, but I thought it was important to share an...
Read moreWe went to the BBQ part, which are tables on the beach, in the sand. Beautiful location for sunset. The drinks orders can be done at the tables but you must wait in line to order the food. Food is sold by weight (per 100 grams). Be careful, the person at the cash is hiding the scale, so people can't see how much the fish actually weighs. He always suggests to everyone to order extremely large portions of fish, which ends up quite expensive andost people don't even eat half their plates. For example, I ordered squid and he told me the weight was 310 grams and wasn't enough for 2 people. I added prawns. In the end, he wanted me to pay 480K idr for 2 people. When I came back to ask how it could cost this much, he was yelling at me, angry for bothering him. The squid wasn't actually 310 grams but 1 kg!!!! He was telling me that 1kg of squid wasn't enough for 2 people... which is ridiculous. I ended up getting the smallest quid possible which was 580 grams and that was more than enough!!! While I was waiting for the correction, I was looking sideways at the scale and saw he was telling the wrong weights to people ordering to make them pay more... in the end the squid was delicious but make sure you don't get scammed ! Don't have the cocktails, they taste like cough syrup with extra sugar. The juices were delicious and the waiter...
