A very bad experience for dinner, never coming back.

It started good, was able to book a table for 8 through the app, then visited the resto to make sure that table has been booked.

Arrived at 6PM, enjoyed the afternoon scenery on the 3rd floor, my family started to order drinks followed by main course. Then it started, the waiter came back and forth informing they don't have particular things we initially ordered, they gave other options then we were set with what each of us wanted.

They started serving main course about an 40-50 minutes after we all ordered, food served didn't come at once for everyone and once it came was wrong order for some of us, either was a wrong steak or a wrong side dish. That was still something we all tried to cope with.

Then the worst thing happened, my dad's steak was not cooked as per order, then I actually walked up to the kitchen - bar section to ask who cooked it and wanted an explanation, I went back to my table. About 10 minutes later the waiter came and apologized that the cook can't come because the resto is busy (as if we're not not customers). About another 5-10 minutes the same waiter came and offer if they can cook the steak properly and after a short discussion with my parents we decided, "yes please cook it to well done", then the waiter left with the plate that my dad started eating.

Only to get the cook come to the 3rd floor 20 minutes later, , not with the steak processed as what we agreed, but to explain how the steak should look like when cooked and apologized that she's been busy with other customers (again, who is she talking to).

I told the cook (as she certainly is not chef by the standard provided), she and the waiter kept asking for an apology for multiple mistakes without any solutions, while customers satisfaction is not at all felt. I also told her that it supposedly be a very special evening for my mother's birthday, but she totally ruined it, the cook and the waiter just stood (had no words) like kids scolded in school by a teacher. They both eventually left (with the steak my dad ordered) after I said that my dad lost appetite and he doesn't want to eat anymore (the wait and the quality of food).

For the review I read before visiting this restaurant, the place is nice, the 3rd floor view is nice, as for the food quality and service, I'm not ever coming back with my family and I would advise the same to anyone else, avoid this place, it's very unprofessional, steak house without steak cooking capability, nor respecting customers service and time.

PS: Of course we ate the food we ordered, despite the taste, we paid in full also, instead have to wait another food for 30-40 minutes would be to much. Your waiter also only for 5 days working experience at you place and assigned to manage 8 persons without understanding what we ordered (steak and sides were mixed up), so your kitchen and waiters were chaotic, please fix your house and don't try to point fingers at the customers. Okay so, we ordered this beautiful 600gr oz beef with the price of 800k++, we have given note that we wanted it medium. But when the steak came, we immediately know that the cook cannot grill this steak right.. It was a bit pink ( just a bit, almost well done!) just in the middle area, while the edge of the steak is well done, very much well done that it’s like eating ‘empal daging’ instead of steak! We complained to the waiter but he said there’s nothing they could do, they only promise it wont happen again in the future.. And we do not blame him, however we blame the cook. There’s no compensation given to us at all, we paid everything in full, eating this ‘empal’ steak.. it was a total waste of a good and beautiful beef !! T__T I wish the manager was there.. we wont be coming back. Additional note though, the strawberry juice was fresh and good, salad is too small in portion ( it’s good), beef frankfurter is so so (try chicken garlic sausage instead, it’s the best!) In Bali there are many places for steaks , they can offer a myriad of values and styles and also even eccentricity....

However , if you want something cozy ambience and good quality steaks, then RNB is the place....

Maybe some may say, oh why eat steak in Bali? oh yeah no doubt , everyone visiting Bali shouls try local Balinese fares.....BUT who can deny the need for steaks? IF you suddenly have a craving for steaks, that means your body need nutrients from the steaks then RNB is the place to go.....
