The food here is quite okay, make no mistake about it. Problem is that it looks like your typical western mall/plaza restaurant and the food is as you’d expect too. Yet the prices are high as though there is no tomorrow. Steamed rice Rp. 15,000++ and plain iced tea Rp. 15,000+++ is pricey but the oxtail soup (sop buntut) at Rp. 134,000++ (Rp. 154,000) is taking the piss. The soup had only three segments but there were six meat pieces too. Not a lot of flavour in the soup - it was a little too clear - no real attempt at infusing a stronger fried shallot or clove flavour or other flavours to add interest (I can cook it back home) but the salt did save it somewhat. At this price range I expect something a little special. Take your hard earned elsewhere if you are looking for a $$$ level restaurant. If you don’t mind throwing your hard earned into the wind then by all means you’ll enjoy an average meal here.

We had spring rolls to start with, they were Luke warm and literally dripping with oil ☹️ but I thought never mind my main will be here soon. I wish I’d walked out before it arrived! I had the NASA Bali I think it was called. Now I’m sure this is meant to be a warm/hot dish…..or if I’m mistaken then it was perfect, because it was cold!!! Bearing lukewarm warm if I was lucky !!!! I think the warmest thing on the plate was the rice and I’d call it cold 🤣.. No point in complaining as it took long enough to come I was expecting it to be piping hot considering the time it took, or I’m betting it was cooked quickly and left standing for 15 minutes… Needless to say I won’t be coming back here again.. but on the bright side the frontage looks nice and may draw you in, but don’t be fooled by the cover 😬🤓

Superb satay place, we actually went back to do a takeaway cos it was so good. We ordered chicken satay (classic is gold), chicken skin (my son’s fav), mushrooms (not my favorite), a minced chicken one that looked like a sausage (my partner’s fav), also another one of those that’s spicy that’s served with lemongrass stick. The peanut paste is unlike the usual, super smooth, a little like those peanut paste dessert (in a good way). Drinks were amazing, staff were so friendly and children loving.. it’s one of the best places I’ve enjoyed in Bali! We went in the afternoon. Just a wonder why it was so quiet when we visited.. nice AC place to go to on such a hot day. Would definitely recommend!

Not great for 2 pax spending 335k....one real bug-bear for us was that the photos often didn't tie up with the actual food served (I think other reviewers have said the same). In particular the chicken. Photos are of chicken legs - coz they're the best bits! - but no, can only come as chicken breast in many of said photos. Feel conned. Also the Sosis Solo decidedly not as we've had them before in our local warungs. Mushy here....the emping are sweet...which is ok if you like them that way. We also asked for the telor ceplok to be well-done....both came out runny...they fixed it, but still....Finally, more items than is reasonable were not available. But on a more positive note the nasi goreng kambing was good, but overall, sadly, we were...
