What The Crab — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I only went here to try and eat crab for the first time. For one time experience, this was great but I don’t see myself eating crab very often. The food is very tasty, the staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is beautiful.

The crab meat is very tasty. But in order to find the meat you need to “fight” with the crab and break the shell. This can take time for inexperienced ones. It took me one almost one hour to break the crab and finish the meat.

I recommend order something else together with the crab. A soup for example. Everything tastes good here.

For those curious, the crab meat tastes like shrimps, maybe a bit more sweet than shrimps.

My mistake (or maybe not, because I enjoyed it) was to order a 500 gr crab with 3 kind of side dishes alone. I didn’t think the crab would be that HUGE. 😂✨🦀 And surprisingly I finished the crab on the spot, but I asked them to wrap the fried mantau and the onion rings. They’re patiently waiting for me to finish my food too, because I stayed until the place closed. I’m so sorry, and thank you so much!!!! 🙇🏽‍♀️🩵

We came here because my partner was craving sea food, and he's so satisfied now. The crab chowder was so tasty, even me who doesn't like sea food, I tried and I loved it, I could eat the whole soup myself. Then my partner took the 500g crab, and loved it. It was fun to see him fighting to get the meat inside. I took the creamy chicken pasta, and the flavours were amazing.
