I recently dined at Robata Jyo and had a remarkable experience, particularly with the food.
Food. The appetizers set the tone with a soft boiled egg topped with truffles, which tasted exceptional. For the mains, I opted for a bento set and a gyu don. Both dishes were near perfect in taste. However, the tempura crumble on the gyu don lacked crispiness. When I inquired with the staff about this, they were unable to provide an answer, likely due to being new. This was a minor disappointment in an otherwise excellent meal.
Price. The prices are on the higher side, but given the quality and taste of the food, they are justified.
Service. Service was satisfactory, with the serving time being quite efficient.
Ambiance. The restaurant itself was pleasant, with a cozy temperature and a noise level conducive to having a good conversation (not sure if it was because less guesses that time).
Access. Access to the restaurant is straightforward, as it is located inside an apartment complex with ample parking space. Additionally, it is wheelchair accessible.
Summary. Overall, Robata Jyo offers amazing food and a nice atmosphere, with only minor issues that slightly detracted from an otherwise fantastic...

First time i entered the resto, it was very nice and clean, they have the yakitori kitchen in front and it was late lunch ~2PM so a bit occupied but not full.
My family and i, which 4 of us, ordered the three lunch bento and one rice bowl. Before, i asked the waitress the diff between Salmon Yaki and Salmon Teriyaki and she said both were sweet but the diff, one has sauce and the other is not. So i ordered, the Yaki (?)
Along the way, we heard a customer complaint about the food is taking so much time and she waited for 30 mins (wow). Then it happened to me as well, the waiting time was crazy for 3 set of bento and a rice bowl. My dad and I ordered the same thing but i have to wait another 15 mins after my dad's food arrived (so confused, why it took them so long with the same type of food??)
Then all of us had our lunch, and remember when i ordered Yaki and we thought it was sweet, turned out it was NOT and it's very very dry. The only thing that was hot it's the rice and miso soup :(
Overall, the food just ok, with the ambience they build and the variety of food, honestly they could've...
Read moreI've been here few times so it is to review.
I really enjoy the food here. I think the taste is spot on especially the grilled dishes like yakitori and grilled fish. They have two kind of sauces, one is on the sweet side and the other is savory sides.
The other dishes are fine too. I like the bento box and the steaks. However, the plating can be improved.
Talking about the service, I think they need to improve their service. I hear few people complain a lot and the staffs are pretty bad o theit response. I once complained about my yakitori is undercook. They only reheat it until it's cooked and not really a sorry or anything. So, I hope the management can put more training and better SOP for this area
The interior is nice and quite comfortable. It is clean too.
Overall, I am okay and will be back...
