Hi guys,

I wanted to reach out with some feedback regarding todays (4th November) service in your Jervis Shopping Centre store.

Myself and my partner are regular customers of Kay's Kitchen since many years, probably few decades at this stage. We used to go to Jervis all the time when in city, both restaurants in Blanchardstown and other locations. Service was always good, and so was food. Over the years, we have seen how times change, menus change, people and staff change etc.

When shopping in the centre today, off course we popped into Jervis restaurant for lunch. We've seen few familiar faces only but mostly new employees.

I have to say, being Kay's customer for all this time, service in Jervis restaurant today was spot on, to the point, extremely friendly, polite, efficient and just excellent. Every single employee seemed happy, genuinely caring for what they do, attentive to customers and facilities. There were genuine interactions seen and we have received the same, and not the robotic apathic "next?!" that is commonly seen in most services nowadays unfortunately. Service in your restaurants is always good, but today in Jervis it was beyond that- it was genuine and just that "extra". Even the employees on the floor were interacting in very friendly manner with customers, helping the elderly etc. Food in Kay's was always good- that's why when choosing a lunch spot Kay's always wins for us- however today in your Jervis restaurant food was superb. Much better than the standard "good" we always get. My partner got food from cold deli- soup was fantastic! I got a pasta from hot counter- it was genuinely "restaurant quality" and superb, served by a new young chef who was absolutely brilliant not only with me but all customers he interacted with. Amazing presentation too! Equally excellent was the customer service at the till and at every other station. And it was peak time lunch time too!

I have to say, guys, hats down to the management of the store, all employees and the whole team. They just got "it"! And especially nowadays when hospitality is such a difficult industry to find the right people for, get them trained, manage retention etc- you just seem to have it at excellent level especially in Jervis based on today.

Please do pass this onto your senior management but also especially to your Jervis store. I always think that nowadays, with negative feedback being dominant in customer v service provider communication, it is more important than ever to take time to acknowledge, thank and celebrate positive experiences which today in your Jervis store definitely was. It's dinner now and we are still raving about the food and people we have seen during our lunch at Jervis.

Well done!...

Absolutely appalling place to eat I was in there today at 12:51 I ordered a roast beef dinner I paid with my card wasn’t asked did I want a receipt but only to be sitting down to eat my food when the “manager” came over and accused me of not paying for my food I was with my friend and her son when she approached our table to say that it was brought to her attention that I didn’t pay and the reason I know she accused me was because my friend showed her receipt and her son explained he paid by cash when I explained to her I paid by card she asked me to identify the person who served me to which I said I wasn’t looking at the person who I paid I was so embarrassed as the the place had a lot of people in it, i called a girl over to explain to her what happened as I wanted to speak to management only to find out the one who came over to our table WAS the manager I showed her the transaction on my online banking app to prove I paid for my food only for the so called “manger” to come back over with a half baked response to state that the Chef was the one who said I didn’t pay I am a 54 year old woman and I never was humiliated or embarrassed like that in my whole life it’s states under new construction well let me tell you I will be going further about...

I also have always been a very loyal customer here. I eat in this place pretty much every week. But the last few months I keep having issues with the chefs who are cooking the noodle dishes. I always ask for the exact same dish. 95% of the time there is always an issue I'm paying for a full prawn dish. If I'm not looking they try and give me 3 prawns or 4 prawns when it should be 10. Then they charge extra for the chicken. I just got a dish there and I was treated so badly the chef didn't want me standing there while he did my food.

When it arrived it was covered in vegetables and smothered in sauce it looked like a bowl of mush. I asked for the manager and she spoke to me like I was nothing and told me if I have a problem with the food not to come back in the place again she said she always sees me in there and all I do is complain. I didn't complain Thursday? The 12th of this month. I'm ashamed of the way this manager treated me. Not me or my family will ever be going into that place again she THE MANAGER should not be speaking to an unhappy customer she knows spends money in their restaurant every week! I hope the owner solves this the manager was very passive aggressive telling me to not come back into the store again! All because I...

Always liked this place in the past but not sure I would return after today’s experience. €8.95 for a wrap which came with….nothing!! €3.00 euro for tea and €3.40 for a tray bake which really wasn’t great quality. I wanted a bit of salad with my wrap, wasn’t an option, was told I could have chips or soup with it for an extra €5.00 🤔🤔. Healthy !!!! Too expensive for what we received €30+ for a very mediocre canteen lunch for 2.

The food is very good, tasty and not too expensive, the price could be 3/5 stars being 5 extremely expensive. You should try the pancakes! The coffee is extremely good as well. On Saturday is busy as hell. The customer services is one of the best that I have ever gotten. I forgot to mention the noodles, especially the prawn one, only 10€ and you will be very happy after eat it.

Great value for money and a surprisingly good feed for a mall cafeteria. We got gourmet sandwiches which were around 7 or 8 euros each and could barely finish our portions. They were very tasty too. Would recommend for a quick bite during a shopping spree;)
