Kambo Oriental — Restaurant in Waterford

I was a longtime customer of Kambo. The restaurant has changed management with some new male and female staff members, but some of the old staff are apparently not working there anymore. They have kept the same name as the old restaurant. I ordered my usuals but there were a lot of changes to the menu but some of the old dishes were there. The food is completely different and not as tasty as it was. Very disappointing. My friend’s dish was the same as the old restaurant but mine was not. The food was presented in a dismal way and unsurprisingly lacks flavour and does not taste nice at all. I should have known as we were the only customers in the restaurant - there were no other customers. And for the price we paid, it’s disheartening. Update: as time went on I noticed the dishes I liked previously have changed too much for my taste and I’ve had to find a different Chinese takeaway unfortunately. It’s simply a matter of taste. Continued good wishes to the business. Under new management and the restaurant has been remodelled tastefully but not extensively. It always had a good layout anyway. Food seems to be a step up in quality from previous. Have had a number of takeaways from here since the new owners took over and food has been excellent and very consistent.
