We arrived in Belluno in the afternoon and booked this hotel using the internet. We found the hotel which is a little outside Belluno and parked in the garage. We went to the front door to find ourselves locked out. No one manages the reception desk. My husband found a neighbour and even though she did not speak english she must have contacted the owners because a sweet older Italian lady showed up to let us in. Using my very limited italian, she gave us our key, showed us the code for unlocking the front door and explained that the restaurant was closed that day (it was Monday). The room itself was fine. It looked to have been freshly painted and had newer furniture. Small TV. There was a terrace with a nice view of the mountains. We faced the back which was good because the hotel is on a fairly busy road and I think the rooms on the other side would be noisy. The bathroom was fine. We tried to find another guest to get the wifi password but no luck. After a dinner in town we knocked on doors and luckily found a guest who was able to provide the wifi password. Breakfast was basic (pastries, cereals, yoghurt) and served by the ever smiling italian lady. I cannot recomment this hotel. For a hotel, I expect someone at the reception desk. Also the site we used to booked said they spoke english but we found this not to...

Read moreMy family was traveling to Moena for our skiing holidays. Due to really bad weather we could not pass the San Pellegrino pass. We tried but road conditions were just terrible very slippery. We had to go back and it was already late so we had to find somwhere else to spend the night. After searching we finally found this hotel with so friendly people who helped us very much. Prices normal and brekfas included, very tasteful. Kind personnel. I can not thank them enough. If we had not found them, we would probably just go home and not go to our destination next day. ||Even though we neede a room for just one night, they didnt send us away like some in our way to this friendly Hotel in Belluno....
